They were really good, a proper band with great vocals. Sad that this and the club "scene" has gone.

I would pay good money to see these perform again especially Kathy Dooley, Jim Dooley, Anne Dooley

The Dooleys performed these 2 classic Jimmy Webb songs in their live act for a number of years. Originally recorded by The Fifth Dimension for their album "The Magic Garden". In biographies at the time, a couple of the group named Jimmy Webb as their favourite songwriter and 5D as one of their favourite groups. Their version of just "Carpet Man" was recorded for a live album in Russia, which sold 2 million copies in the Soviet States before the group ever charted in their homeland, UK.

have seen them live a couple of times. nice songs and harmonies. This is early stuff and not quite as polished as later material but I liked it.

I enjoyed that but what the hell was that trumpet noise at the end? It was random, off pitch, erratic. As a former trumpet player it had me lol'g in tears.

Very good, nice live version harmonies great, hey not the 5D but a great cover version, only ever heard Johnny Rivers and 5D versions.

I love the dooleys but this is a bit cheesy,, 😁 that said the harmonies show that they were destined for better.
