The description of the exoplanet was fascinating and astounding... But the visuals added the element of nightmare. Exoplanets nerve cease to amaze us. They come in such variety that we are awestruck everytime we discover one.

IT never ceases to amaze me that we can know so much about a planet that is so far away from us,and only know is there because of its dimming affect on the star it orbits. How can anyone not find this stuff fascinating. I refer to my girlfriend who actually thinks space is boring.

The fact that I have found this egg planet is that I dreamt last night about this planet without knowing. I'm really shocked about the egg form, color and the nearness of the sun because this was exactly like in my dream.... Im soooo happy about its existence.

Exoplanet fans: "There is a really strange planet called HUMPTY-14b which is shaped like an egg would you believe it! The thing was found by a planetary survey which mostly is good at finding egg-shaped planets. Truly bizarre find!"

On the subject of planets I’m writing a story called “Spaceboy Sponch”. A big part of the story is going to all the planets in the solar system. But I thought of a sequel where you go to different exoplanets, WASP-12b being one of them.

The only thing I feel you should have included was the history of it's star and how this began occurring in the first place (because I'm also curious to know). Hopefully i'll see a video in the future if you are able to find research/data on that :)

So in 3 million earth years it’ll be devoured.. but it’s 1400 ly away so it’s technically already 1400000m years if we were present day .. so in 1.6m years present at the scene it’ll be completely destroyed
