The DOORS Bug Theory 

There is a dialogue that el Goblino plays, when you bring the bottle of starlight into Jeff shop, and he basically states and asks what that yellow thing and may I have a sip, this concludes that el Goblino hasn’t actually seen the bottle of starlight before until now.

I think the reason why Timothy jumps on us is because he’s trying to prank Bob and confuses us for Bob.

THAT EXPLAINS WHY LSPLASH SAID THE BACKDOORS IS APART OF THE DOORS LORE. OH MY GOD EVERYTHINGS PIECING TOGETHER

Bob might actually have came from Rooms because sometime when you look closely at an office desk, you can see a name with his name on it, implying he worked there, so he must have been working when accidentally entering the rooms

has it even been confirmed if timothy is a single spider or an entire species just collectively named 'timothy' yet?

I have my own theory that very much explains this I’m just paste a snippet.Basically doors was originally on earth but it was infested with monster, so 3 humans asked the celestials for help. Together they broke a rift between the fabric of space time. This created limbo also meaning prison, with this every monster that ever existed, exists, or will exist will never have gotten earth trapped forever outside time. However the rift can’t just disappear, slowly throughout all of time the rift sometimes brings other things, one of which is the rooms, the moment it was transported to the doors dimension, bob was working overtime, as seen by the name tags in the desks of rooms, he was transported as well into doors where curious light first met him, curious light led him to the hotel where guiding light would take over. similarly this is what happened to us, at some point we got trapped into the hotel as well as Timothy. Curious light looks over the newest and oldest parts of the doors dimension Guiding light looks over the main parts and modifying light maintains the dimension together. However slowly it is disappearing, as proven by the disappearance of doors and rooms in the backdoor.

It makes sense for a spider to be in a haunted hotel

I think that Bob actually came in through the Rooms. Because in the Rooms you can see one of the desks with the name Bob on it. So my theory is that Bob worked in that office when it got infested with entities. He then tried to escaped but went through a door and got into the hotel by accident.
