Another song written by Robby Krieger, the guitarist. ( He wrote light my fire and touch me as well. ) Robby wrote some of their more popular songs, and Jim wrote the big esoteric poetic songs.
Just one guitar and the keyboard in this song. They usually had a bass player playing the bass parts in the studio, but live Ray played them with his left hand.
4 black brothers with a white drummer created this ICONIC Masterpiece from the 60’s Psychedelic Era Trust me…. I was born April 1954. I grew up with the Greatest Music In History. The 60s set the table for the 70s and the early 80s and we all thrived on the best bands ever making incredible music, before it all started to go Digital with forms of noise I refuse to call music.
@@leoN13312 Hey, which old man you referring to? Just joking, I guess that's what makes the world so great , different strokes for different folks. All the very best.
@@straymusictracksfromdavoro6510 the person who made the original comment about being born in 1950s, then insulting todays music. With the internet and computers a lot more people can make music, and be discovered. So many great artist still making great music. He sounds ignorant as hell, but can’t expect much from boomers
The Doors were such an amazing band from the 1960s with a sound all their own, Jim Morrison's voice, wonderful! Three favourite songs among many others that you haven't reacted to yet - Hello I Love You, The Crystal Ship and Five to One. Many thanks for your reaction, guys, take care now.
Wow… I was happy to see another Doors song! I saw them live many moons ago… it was an amazing concert. I grew up loving their music and bought all of their albums and listened to them all the time. Someone mentioned the song “Alabama Song (Whiskey Bar)” I would LOVE to see your reaction that that song! You guys would like “The Lovin’ Spoonful” Great songs like “You didn’t have to be so nice” (1965) or “Do you believe in magic” (also 1965] They were unique and had many good songs. Thanks for this reaction! 🙂
At 12 years old......The Doors first album was the first album I bought with my own money because I knew my parents would not like the lyrics in all the songs….BUT I LOVED THEM. Smoked cannabis for the fist time listening to "Light My Fire" Changed my life like so many other great albums from that time.
Please George and Patrick @Broaction, do “Spanish Caravan” off of the album Waiting for the Sun and there is good black and white version of that song and please do “Back Door Man” also live black and white in 1968! Loved your reaction. 🚪
Can you react to a band called, Player and their hit song, Baby Come Back. It’s a great song and you’ll love it. Be sure to do their live version. Thanks, guys.
Manzarek played the bass parts on his organ in concert. In the studio, they used very skilled bass players like Doug Lubahn, Larry Knechtel & Jerry Scheff.
I like the bro on the right a lot more than the one on the left. The left one seems to be more uptight and stoic and less excitable. He doesn’t react as strongly to the music. He also tends to mock the way the singers sing. I’ve seen him do this in many videos.
Hello Guys! Can you please react to---JUMPIN JIVE-Cab Calloway and the Nicholas Brothers. Black and White version. 13M+ views. 1943. You will Never see anything like it!!! Cab was one of the Kings of "Scat" style singing=vocal improvisation and the Nicholas brothers, well, buckle up :)) !!!!!!!!!!!!
To me his voice didn't match his face, he had a baby face, his voice had such strength and growl to it. Gone way to early at 27. He was a member of the 27 club, Hendrix, Joplin.
I'm 71 years old. This is my music. You so called hipsters should be wearing Taylor Swift T-shirts instead of co-opting George Harrison and Pink Floyd from 50 years ago.
