There actually is a 17 minute song which included Not To Touch The Earth, it is Celebration Of The Lizard which is on the Doors album Absolutely Live.

Okay, very nice, very nice…So glad I found your channel. I’ve been listening to The Doors for, wow, 5 decades. I’ve read everything I could find on them, especially Jim. I have some very rare photos of Jim that are greatness. I absolutely love Not to touch the Earth. Most people think it’s called Run with Me, haha. But he wasn’t killed young man, no. If anything he killed himself.

Okay I just left a comment on your "Unknown Soldier" youtube video, saying hardly anyone reacts to that song or "Not to touch the earth", so thanks for reacting to both of these doors songs! I loved watching both of your reactions to Not to touch the earth" it's one of my favorites it's so wild!! Jim was really into mythology. metaphors and "reptiles"...hence "the lizard Kind".."Dead presidents corpse in the drivers car" lyric is in reference to the Kennedy assassination". I'm a huge doors fan and have been since they first began, I know every song by heart. I met Jim and the rest of the group in Venice Beach when they first started out, it's a long story..

At 15 I went to a Doors concert and asked Jim what the Lizard King meant because I didn't get it He told me he would explain it if I went backstage in a menacing way No, I did not go and still loved the Doors regardless

Your right, It’s about the subversive controlling elements of our culture & it’s numbing and debilitating affects. In that world, one can’t feel natural (touch the earth) not find true enlightment (see the Sun), so to find freedom you have to run (seek it out on your own)… house upon the hill is the center of power (capital, whitehouse, pentagon, Corp headquarters perhaps)… engine run on glue and tar is pointing to capitalism running on oil (glue and tar are derivatives). The east and czar could be Russia. The pres in car is jfk who went against the deep state of his day.
