Just discovered your tutorial on this particular song. Last night, tried three other "R's on the Storm" piano videos, but on this cold Sunday morning - your calm demeanor, perfect pace, unassuming expert instruction and soothing voice make for a just perfect tutorial experience. In the last 9 months or so, I've tried many piano tutorials for many songs but honestly this one of yours and I hope there are others, has to be my favorite of them all. Thank you so much! I haven't looked yet, to see what else you offer but I am sure as I search for more tutorials, you will be at the top of my list.
Hi Veronica it's Captain Canada here. I just discovered your tutorial channel today. You are an incredible piano teacher and I will be following your instruction on a regular basis. Thank you so much Veronica. Captain Canada gives you two thumbs up eh.
Thanks so much for this, I am now a loyal subscriber. Despite being well over 70, I'm trying to switch to piano from years of playing guitar. This has always been my all time favorite song, after seeing the Doors in concert, WAY before you were born! LOL
I would love to demonstrate it beginning to end, however YT likes to hand out strikes for that sort of thing. That's also why even on the classical tutorials, I do not play the piece beginning to end, and I provide a link to a recording I've made (on my website).
@@MISO999100999 I only have my classical arrangements on my site at the moment, however I do need to create a separate playlist for rock/pop. Please check out the content currently on my website www.veronicapiano88.com -- I will add a new page that includes this song soon
As a guitarist who is starting out on keys, ROTS seemed like a fun song to get my teeth into. Really enjoying your style - great stuff. Many thanks for the hard work.
Unbelievable......I asked you about this song a few weeks ago ...... and out of the blue, here it is. I've been 'dabbling' with this song for months, and a even though I may not agree 100% with this version..... your 98% is WAYYYY better then my 20-25% of 'dabbling'. Geesh, because of you I can actually look forward to more 'progress' and less 'frustration' ! Ya know........ you're ok Veronica..... I don't care what they say about you when you're not around - LoL 😀😂🤣 [ Just kidding - Thanks sooOOoo MUCH ! ]
Excellent to hear! I appreciate the comments on the posts - I try to create the tutorials that my subscribers want to see, so this is my thank you for responding to my poll.
@@veesvideo THANK YOU for considering it. 1-it is a true classic and favorite 2-there are so many bad tutorials. 3- I’m 72, and need all the help I can get. And your first tutorial of it is probably the best out there. 4- I started learning piano and right handed pieces are few and far between . Please let me know if you do! Thanks Ed
Hi Veronica, it's been about 3 months and was wondering if you have given any more thought to doing a video on the solo in the Doors, Riders on the Storm?
@@veesvideo Hi, Been 9 months and I was wondering if you ever got around to making the solo tutorial? If so could you post a link. I'm sure it would become a youtube favorite. Ed
@@veesvideo I'm just a little jealous that my parental units didn't push me in a direction of learning something like piano. So I figured anyone that knows that much about the instrument must have been doing it for awhile. You seem very confident. How long have you played?
