I've been following the james hoffmann method but at some point I accidentally double bloomed and I loved the result so I've been doing it ever since

Haha, that's how we all evolve, with small mistakes that turn out better. One day, someone might make a triple bloom recipe!

@@StandoutCoffee bro.. just do that.. then make a quad bloom. or even go way out of the box and do a ZERO bloom. whoa bro. pouring water twice or three times.. whoaaa my mind cant handles the complexity of pouring water an extra time! whooaoaaaoaoaaoa.. Lol what man... what are you even saying?

Last/main 150g pour seems to be 30s+ not 10s as in description

Hi, nice method.. will try.. do you count 30s after you finish the pour, or do you include pouring time?

No reply? It sounds like he's starting the count from the start of the first pour so on the 30 and 60 second Mark's but really I don't think it matters much or there's benefit to actually waiting longer after the bloom. Lance Hendricks recipe calls for an up to 2 minute bloom!

The final bed looks like mud. Not that that's bad. And slow.

Have you experimented with swirilng the coffee between blooms or does that not work? And what temperature (in F) are you brining the water to? 195-205?

Hey! Sorry for the late replay, missed your comment. When swirling, you always raise the extraction yield of your brew. If you want a stronger cup, try it out! Balance the swirl out with a slight courser grind to find new ways of extracting your coffee to perfection. Good luck on your brew journey!

Hey! Thats a tricky question, what grinder do you have? So the best thing is to follow the recipe and then use the timer to set your grind size. Try to hit the 2:45 time mark for the total brew time. Set your grinder to finer or courser to hit that time! Hope that makes sense 😌

A coffee video that limits itself to relevant information given in the timeframe expected of a human? Wild. Seriously, I only even clicked this because I saw the runtime was 2:50. Most of this sort of video is some pretentious dork rambling on for a quarter- or half-hour when the video topic is just like 'Here's the pourover technique I've been doing lately.' and IT DOESN'T TAKE HALF AN HOUR TO POUR SOME WATER, LANCE HEDRICK. ...Anyway, appreciate it.
