He's such a great actor! His eyes are so expressive! Exam scene is a masterpiece. Look at his expresion while she's performing First, when everyone was questioning her ability to play qin, he looked down on his hand wondering is her wirst all right. Second, when he understood why she choose this melody, to make Shen Yurong feel guilty and regret. Duke Su instantly has opened his fan and gave a little smirk of satisfaction or approval of her action. Third, he was suprised with her great playing skill. Realy, it's kind of shocked face, stunned by emotions and beautiful tone. Like he wasn't prepare for the show to be that good. And we all know he's a music and theatre lover ;) Then his shocked and angry look to Yurong, like he wanted to say: "what did you do to her?" And going back lokking at her, gave her such worrying and compassionate stare. He is already fond of her but maybe didn't realize it yet

You cannot compete against a Cai Nue :) -- she was the most talented of her city in writing (calligraphy), flower arrangement (arts), playing go (strategy) and PLAYING THE QIN. She can out think and out play anyone and everyone (except maybe her soulmate Duke Su LOL)

Feel with grief and sorrow. 🥲 She gave up everything ….including her own family to be with a man who ended up betrayed her for power, status, and money. Such a tragic way to find out the truth. That qin performance was so beautiful! I watched it multiple times. Telling her story, how she gets defeated, but then rises again and again. Great CGI, unexpected, but welcome. Also, I have to admit the guy playing the ex-husband is such a great actor - he conveys his emotions so well! Still, I feel that with him it's more about guilt and fear, rather than actual remorse about what he's done. I'm glad he supported the FL with his vote, though. But he does look like he's slowly going crazy😅

Imagine placing third in an exam because two other girls were able to create butterflies and teleport to a North American setting through her piece and the other was able to summon petals then lifted her soul in a Princess Jasmine outfit to fight a demon in the sky just by playing music and everyone said nothing about it but got that it was a story of revenge. Forget your mom comparing you to your cousi . Why you don’t make your soul fly out like Jiang Li? Why you don’t create butterflies like Jiang Rouyou?

Jiang Li certainly swept the dance floor. And I think Duke Su has had all the questions answered for him, as in I think he knew Jiang Li was Xue Fangfei, he just didn't know what happened and why she was hiding and that song and her ex husbands reaction to it answered every thing he didn't already know. But along with that, I think the ex husband now knows she wasn't dead when he buried her alive.

i love how duke su was inderectly telling shen yurong that he knows what the bastard did to his wife at the qingheng mountain..indirectly telling xue fangfei that he hopes she gets her revenge, indirectly telling shen yurong that he betrayed his wife and his wife is alive and putting the emotion of a betrayed lover in her music
