theres so much wrong with this game on the mycareer side but nobody really talks about it the cpu hits whatever they want while ur teammates are ass of course but the cpu also has insane defense no matter what their ratings and badges are they seemingly recover immediately
U are speaking the truth sir. Another example is when they want curry or clay to shot they make ur player slow to contest the shot or make the player go into lala land somewhere so they have a free shot.
Too many badges in the first place. Then they added level to the badges. Then they added a Madden field goal bar to make jumpers. It distracts the user off of the shot position and animation.
For all the people who say it isn’t cheating let me ask you, if you were playing 5v5 in the rec or Proam would you be ok with your opponent having the same sliders the opposing Mycareer AI does coupled with the fact that you have to time perfectly your shot and they don’t? Would you still consider it fair when they inbox you calling you trash after you lose and they hit 7 heavily contested threes throughout the game?
Are they still rewarding the CPU with an offensive rebound after missing said low IQ shots The number of times I've seen a guard take a stupid shot and somehow end up with the offensive rebound.... That's what made me give up on 2k last year . .
Watching that video, the only thing I'm wondering is how was that only 59% contested? Klay basically clipped through him. Thought it should have been a block and 100% contested.
I swear badge are firing off incorrectly, it’s mad frustrating. guaranteed Kyrie deadeye and hand down badges kicked in when that should’ve been a smothered shot. 2k bit off more then they can chew with this game. You aren’t rewarded for playing good basketball in this game. The game solely based off badges and shot stability, smh.
Hence why I don’t really do mycareer I just create a player, put him on a team and to player lock so you can fix the settings and all of the sliders to my liking

I still play old gen 2K, America is a business and you folks keep consuming and complaining AFTER buying the game. I'd ho y'all out too if y'all kept complaining, but kept buying. I'd make minor insignificant changes every year so my profit margin can go up. I would only conform to consumer wishes if they stopped padding my pockets, otherwise y'all can make all the videos you want because you're giving my game MORE PUBLICITY and MFs STILL finna buy 2K25 off the REFLEX

The whole notion of this 2k camera where the perspective has us playing UPHILL theres no FASTBREAKS. When SPRINTING, DOWNHILL is the expression that should be felt. They need to fix FASTBREAKS in 2k camera. The passing doesn't replicate FASTBREAKS in that camera
only way i get away with fastbreaks if holding triangle if i try a regular outlet pass the defense ALWAYS recovers dosent matter how much of a lead or step i have on the ai
I thought I was da only person dat seen n thought of this.2k is cheatin n not fair n plus da way how they make ur teammates play defense is insane.I will be clamping up my opponent n 1 of my teammate will leave his guy wide open to hit a easy open 3 just to help me double team my guy dats already guarded n didn’t need help.I promise u dis will be my last year on 2k n I’m fine with stayin on 24 for a few years or just needa stop playin dis game n focus more on life
The biggest difference between pro difficulty and Hall of Fame difficulty isn't the consistency of which the AI hits contested. The AI hits contested shots even on pro difficulty I'm playing with Gold Challenger and OG anunoby hits a 71% red contest 3 in my face. The AI is going to hit contested shots no matter the game difficulty this year. The difference between Hall of Fame and pro is on Hall of Fame difficulty your own teammates will assist the AI to guard you they will purposely create bad spacing to allow for easier double teams and they also play horrible defense.
What’s crazy is you need badges so even if your player is a 85 overall he’s trash until you start unlocking badges. Having a certain overall rating like 85 should automatically come with badges .
I think this has happened because year after year I could beat the HOF CPU by cheesing pick and roll and getting layups all game until I could drop a 3 or two, while the CPU was much easier to defend into a low shot percentage. They have finally made a game that’s unplayable and unbeatable, because you can’t rely on any jump shots consistently and everyone moves at the same speed so you can’t get to the rim like other years
The cpu defense in this version is OD. Players with 95 speed can't blow past anyone, Including forwards or centers. This is ridiculous. And the cpu help defense is crazy. This needs a patch with 2k23 defensive settings or something. And cpu doesn't miss shots
That's the difference between say Dark Souls punishing difficulty and 2K manipulative difficulty. We spend money here, so the devs need to stop the holier than thou crap, drop a proper game, and stop changing it. PERIOD. Let the chips fall where they may. If they aren't confident enough to do so, then your product is ready for sale.
the 2k ai isnt good enough to stop an actual human player so they have to artificially buff it so its more challenging. in the vid ur up by 40 so obviously it isnt game breaking lol. the problem is mycareer used to be a more customizable experience but when online play (park rec etc) became their main focus they stopped treating offline mycareer as its own experience and more as just a pre requisite/grind for online play. mycareer gets way less attention now & its watered down bc the customization could lead to people getting advantages for online play or spending less money. remember when u could get vc for simulating, use custom rosters for ur mycareer story, & there was an actual story where ur play early in ur career affected things? now everything is just catered to online play. really, u should be able to enjoy a customizable mycareer experience and change sliders if u want but it will never happen. u can tell 2k no longer has the same passion it used to and everything in the game is designed to cater to whatever will make them the most money. this is why 2k is dead to me. they used this years improvements and cross play as a way to push the season pass without a bigger reaction. i usually skip 2ks now and its hard to want to play them when i buy them. $70 plus vc prices every year for a half a$$ed game
