Sometimes I ask myself how many animators wanted to do the "Ill steal it no one will ever know" part.

This humor was about 60 years ahead of its time. Little did they know that this kind of stuff would be even more popular in half a century than it was then!

Considering how this cartoon almost never was produced because of how the original was very exaggerated and bizarre, the fact you exaggerated and made it more bizarre would make Chuck Jones proud.

I love how several animators all separately had the same idea to have Larry just be rolling/bouncing along the road like a big ball

5:30 did anybody noticed how the animator added the "loss" in the background.

I love how at 7:33 or so you see Dora smile as she kicks Dan offscreen- she’s just playing up the whole damsel in distress thing.

I just love how most of these don't rely on pop culture references and memes and instead try to take the wackiness to another level or just show the artists take on the scene they're animating, it gives us something new while keeping up the humor of the original or even adding onto it.

The original came out 76 years ago. It's been an entire human lifetime since the creation of this, and almost nobody alive today would've been able to see this when it was first broadcast. Yet, because the internet is so weird and holds so much, a whole lot of people remade the entire thing for fun. That, to me, is just incredible.

It’s kind of amazing when you think about how technology is so advanced that people were able to animate pieces of a nine-minute cartoon that was originally animated on cels in a studio with a budget of several thousand dollars in their _bedrooms_
