Thanks for the nice comment, I(cameraman) started skating because of your videos 6 years ago, on Powerslide kaze Boots 😊 we all need a hero to inspire us to explore new things sometimes.
Woah! Normally, I find downhill skating videos pretty boring. But what you guys are doing, is just beautiful, both the cinematography and the skating. So stylish! Big thumbs up. 👍🤘
This is really beautifully filmed ! This is honestly really motivating as a beginner skater, seeing what i could do when im more confident on my skates :) Those brakings were so smoooth
All these featured riders started slowly, on flatter terrain without cars, and learned to break, and then moved to steeper terrain very gradually over the years :)
Nice video, I like the flow ;) but why promoting weaving in front of cars? If anybody is driving in the opposite direction it would be very respectful to stay on your lane instead of heading towards them only dodge the car in the last second. Imagine how many heart/panic-attacks you may have caused ;)
Thank you! We document what exists with the less intervention possible and do not promote certain behaviors. Sometimes riders also don't wear protection , which here is the opposite, but we really try and keep our opinion out of the way and document the truth with a certain distance. The only thing we can do ourselves is to be careful to respect the rules, because you are right, as you see the camera never crosses the line.
Yeah well... you're not wrong. Also some people gotta "live a little". So what can you do. The skaters are giving drivers a bit of "expect the unexpected", which is only healthy.
If enough people did it they'd get used to it. Also the low speeds are making the risk of death pretty miniscule. Compared to American streets which are literally dragstrips.
@@paulblichmann2791 there is always a trade off between security of pedestrians, on the sidewalk, and your own, on the road. Also ideally, communication with drivers is really crucial so that they understand the intentions of the rider. Finally, many small roads are Max 30kmh with no sidewalks, where cars should expect to share the road with inlines and other...
