Fr. Topaz and SW are his best teammates. Topaz's follow-up attack damage buffs + SW being able to inflict 5 debuffs all by herself means Dr. Ratio's follow-up attacks will always deal maximum damage. That part of the kit that adds 20% bonus damage based on the number of debuffs on the enemies, maxing out at 5, is just absurd. Let alone considering how easy it is to throw his follow-up attacks. Sometimes, I get surprised when he throws his follow-up and it shreds 50% of the boss's HP.

Even with unbuilt relics (like, level 3-9 on most of them), he was pulling work in SU with Topaz and SW on Elation. I'm talking equal chalk damage compared to Numby despite Topaz rocking a full FuA relic set fully built...

Any replacement for SW?

Same here bro, heard about a soon upcoming free 5-star and downloaded HSR on a SW banner. Now I already have Ruan Mei and yesterday got Kafka with a free Dr. Ratio. Things are getting interesting now ;)

Me too, when I heard hsr is giving away Dr. Ratio I downloaded it while on Silwerwolf and Argenti's banner. I saved for exactly 1 month then pulled on Ruan Mei's banner, lost 50/50 to Bronya then got Ruan Mei with a total of 177 pulls.

Nah they buff each other. Topaz buffs follow ups and ratios consistently followup is consistently trigger numby.

You're half-correct half-wrong. Topaz is made to buff the damage output of ALL follow-up attack units, not just Dr. Ratio. But yeah, this is part of the reason why it's great to invest/pull on units like Topaz, Kafka, and SW, who were designed to enable future characters. Once Black Swan drops, we might get to see a Dr. Ratio + Topaz situation again with BS and Kafka.

Dr ratio in simulated is amazing especially gold and gears company time strat.Watching the chalk do 5 million dmg is an amazing thing to see

boss phases doesn’t count as them being defeated, so Ratio’s talent FuA, the hunt’s “restore 60% energy after defeating enemy” and other effects similar to those won’t be triggered.

I played and this is wrong. Dr. Ratio's follow up does trigger once the boss gets to a new phase, it's just in the video it looks like There wasn't a 100% chance

I had a math teacher similar to him when I was a kid. Female version though. Ppl like these are good teachers as long as you can weather their words. My teacher used to say kids aren't technically so stupid they can't do math, but most of them are too lazy to practice math and understand. Not "memorized" formula but "practice" the formula. She called us lazy a lot, never "idiot" or "stupid" bcs some of us never "practice". She liked it when someone can find a different formula than hers but still get the same result. I used to do this. She's also one of the rare teacher that never mind it when I asked a lot of questions. I was a noisy and curious kid when it comes to subjects I like. So she was amazing with her patience. I love math bcs of her. Some of my friends completely felt terrorized by her though. I never did. I think she was the best math teacher ever.
