In 2016, a great exhibit opened in Tokyo and Osaka all about Dragon Quest! (More Below!)
Unfortunately, the Dragon Quest Museum is now closed and has been for about 5 years. Shortly after its closure, Square-Enix published a book chronicling the event. I might someday buy this book and remake the video, but for right now, I haven't... too expensive!

I guess you need to be a fan of the Dragon Quest serie to fully appreciate the place, but there was impressive stuff inside! When you do something you got to do it well, after all.

Oh wow--this is so cool!! This would have been a lot of fun to see in person. So glad you've shared with us! Loto's armor and sword look amazing. Those paintings! And you rebel--lol Those fantastic figures and model scenes!! Love seeing the sketches! The food! The gift shop! Oh geez, we would've gone broke!

Great video as always! It's really cool that you do these documentary style reports on various places and events so that everyone can get a taste of the experience. I can tell you put a lot of thought and effort into them :)

I must've subbed to you after you put this out, because I can't believe this is the first I'm seeing it! I've been a huge Dragon Quest fan since playing both DQ4 Remake on DS and Dragon Quest Swords on the Wii, believe it or not.* This was so cool to see! I know there are constant Dragon Quest-themed pop-up cafes in Japan thanks to reading about them on SoraNews, and that last year (when I'm writing this, so 2021) DQ got it's own area at Universal Studios Japan that was awesome looking; I love this kind of stuff! Glad you mentioned this vid in your community comments recently so I found it. Thanks for that! 😃

Finally I found someone that did! hahaha I went to see this exhibition too but I wasn't able to sneakily take photos at that time. Thanks, I've been wanting to see those arts again especially the rainbow bridge!
