@@kyestar88 I've fought him so many times I learned to beat him with two ars arcanums and a sonic blade on Sora, dark aura and splicer, and zantetsuken on Riku... so many hours of my life that I'll never get back.
Notice how Mickey, a student of Yensid, is also visably confused about his decision to have them take a Mark of Mastery. I think yensid is getting a little senile.
And on that note: here's a little tidbit. You know Young Xehanort's voice actor, Ben Diskin? He actually voiced Joseph Joestar in the Jojo Part 2 anime. And Ansem's voice actor, Richard Epcar? He does Old Joseph in Jojo Part 3. So, in a sense, we have two versions of one Jojo in this game. Just an interesting little observation.
Sham, let me make something clear. When you say "experience" you mean it. I go through so many phases of energy and laughter, and then the stillness of the game clear screen seals it in. It's cathartic. I'm going to be so sad when these are over. Thank you so much.
I’m disappointed that you didn’t include the clip of Joshua flying away from Riku without any context because I felt like it was integral to the experience of playing this game😂
Kingdom Hearts DDD: Some weird guy says something ominous or confusing Sora/Riku gets mad or confused they beat up some nightmare to feel better repeat.
@@sasir2013 honestly i never really thought about it like that but it makes a ton of sense. right after spellican is when xehanort derails the test completely. its even in a sleeping version of yen sid's home world
Almost no one in their right mind would’ve that that was the most effective form of combat, but thanks to stickman sham, I can almost guarantee that we are all going to use it!
@@ItsPundore in the DLC roxas is happy and grateful to have sora save him but in the base game roxas is more focused on saving his friends (mansex attempted to harm Axel). All Roxas does in regards of reacting to sora is nod at him.
"DDD is horrible," they say. "Balloon is broken and overpowered," they cry. Stickman Sham sits and ponders. Opening his eyes, he utters those few words that upset the balance forever. "Hmm, Sliding Dash."
Good video Stickman Sham but I do have a question. Why did you put Re: Chain of Memories footage from 3:06 to 6:18 ? Is it a stylistic choice or just a simple editing mistake?
The touchy scene of Roxas is kinda ruined with Sora looking like he's about to nut and Roxas just smiling Edit: After seeing all of the cursed replies below, I yearn to not think again.
@Mason Abney I felt like it was supposed to be a maturation of his theme tbh. And maybe also a sort of theme for the latest battle between him and Sora specifically (or something that includes his feelings about the unfolding Xehanort plot?) than just his own battle theme. Like we've heard his theme a lot in different songs so I personally appreciated it going somewhere a bit different. Similarly to YX's godly battle theme in this game this one has some interesting depth in it to me that doesn't feel so out of place imo (YX's actually sounding quite melancholy with the background piano).
Funny thing is I stopped using the balloon chain of spells half way through the game from hearing how much it hit for once I got triple plasma, never got firaga burst, and sliding dash when exploring when not near walls
Did you know if you hit young Nort at the right time with dark aura while he turns back time he will have a pained expression in the starting fight cutscene. Laughed a lot when I got it.
30:33 When I was at this phase on my first playthrough, I realized that Young Xehanort was the Mysterious Figure from Birth By Sleep because he is using the same attacks as the Mysterious Figure
OMG! Nomura was thinking THIS far ahead when he put the e-blade into KH1! Now we finally know who created the secret e-blade! This can only mean-- *Obtained e.*
Honestly, I think it's unfair how, whenever Sora & Riku visit Traverse Town once more, Riku gets to beat a crowd of Dream Eaters while Sora has to beat the last 3 bosses from the recent 3 Disney worlds. Fantastic. EDIT: OMG GUYS I MEANT "DREAM EATERS" MY BAD 🤦🏽♂️💀
@@falscher2 Honestly, Terra should have remained a villain. Just imagine how much more interesting Birth by Sleep could have been if Terra was a Keyblade wielder and fellow student of Ventus and Aqua under Eraqus who fell to darkness and renamed himself Xehanort thus renouncing his former identity, he splits his former younger brother-figure into two halves one of which becomes Vanitas. So the rest of the game from that middle-point onwards becomes about Ventus fighting Vanitas at every turn while Aqua is trying to stop Xehanort (formerly Terra).
I love how KH1&2 experience were quicker and it takes you so long for dream drop and i would die with laughter if we wait as long as we did for KH3 official game for your experience of it
That Dream Eater basically snapping at Riku, Beat and Rhyme was so hilarious to me I think this is one of the few emotions a non "sentient" enemy in the series has shown Edit: *oh no*
