You highlight the most important thing about a desk setup: it should inspire you to work. Overkill is fine if it makes you happy and motivated. We all sit/stand at our desks for a lot of our lives, so why shouldn't they be awesome!
Yess been waiting on an in-depth view of the new setup! Also loved the pacing of this video personally - felt like I got all the details I needed/wanted (music and broll top tier aswell📈)
Thanks brother 🤝🏻🫡🔥 Iterating on my skills in front of the camera, and trying to be more structured with a script these days. It's been pretty helpful so far 😅
Man, your setup is simply beautiful, and it suits your needs and what you like, who cares if other people say it´s unnecessary? they can build their own if this is too much for them, I like what you have done even if I wouldn't do the same, but this is the beauty of building our own spaces, cheers man, keep it going on, love from México. 😸😸😸
Amazing setup Aral! And your video production was top notch. First time watching your videos, but I will definitely be watching more in the future. You've definitely given me some ideas for my setup, so thank you!
This is sweet! Building out mine this year and just built my first custom pc too! Such a fun experience, glad to see there's others out there new to it too haha
Haha nice man 👌🏼🔥 I started out with a pre-built: BuildRedux did a great job putting it together for me. But I want to do a fully custom one by myself maybe this year 🤙🏻💯
Dude it’s what makes you happy there’s know law are rule what you don’t need ppl will always have something negative to say your setup is 😊🔥🔥🔥 and a definite inspiration
Completely agreed! And honestly, I really don't care about the opinions of faceless accounts. But I did feel the need to give some level of context because I've witnessed how talking about equipment could be intimidating for people who are just beginning their development or design careers. They often fall into the false perception that they NEED to have certain equipment to be a professional developer or a designer 🤙🏻💯
Thank you so much 🙏🏻🔥 Yeah I love how it turned out; it looks great, but more importantly, it's a lot sturdier than my past setups like I said in the video 👌🏻 Oh the Ergonofis CMS did the heavy lifting on cable management, I didn't do much haha 😅
My Dude thank you for all the information you have given me your setup rocks! I notice that you said you are in Orlando. I live in Ocala. I would love to take you to lunch one day. Also I notice your 49” monitor, awesome. I just wanted to ask are you running the 240Hz on your Mac and if you do how? I have an 49” LG 240Hz but all I get is 144Hz on my Mac M1.
yeah, would be happy to connect for sure 🔥🤙🏻 nah man I think macOS is bottle-necking that max 240Hz on purpose. Max I could get was 120Hz using the SwitchResX app. I can run the full 240Hz through the custom PC though 😅
dude did you know not know that those ultra wide have picture and picture or picture in picture or a kvm switch ????? you can use two devices in one monitor ya youtubers are underutilizing your devices
I know I made a dedicated video for each monitor where I talked about the Multi-View and KVM functionalities especially for the Ark. Did you not watch the whole video? Lmao 🤣😂 but I don’t have an occasion where I’m using multiple devices at once 🤷🏻♂️ so I don’t have a use for it. You should do it though 🤙🏻💯
idk why, but my neck always hurts when I see a stacked monitor setup. I've tried a stacked setup once, but build it back to T after 15 minutes, because it didn't work for me, it wasn't comfortable. Are you often using the top monitor? Still a decent, good looking setup!
Top monitor is for mail, Spotify and other secondary windows I have open. And for reference video when editing content. So I don’t have to use it all the time 🤙🏻💯
@@araltasher I see, mail and MS Teams (usually on my second monitor) were the reasons I switched back to a T setup. I'm using them more often than I thought I would. However, got some nice ideas from your video which I can add to my setup :)
That's how I had my screens in my old T Layout too lol 😂 but then I was distracted by Teams a lot more than I wanted to haha Glad you got some inspiration points though 🤝🏻🔥
just from an ergonomic pov why is everyone like you keeping the monitor above recommended eyelevel? Its more economic if we look slightly downwards instead of upwards the whole time. Is it just because of the aesthetics?
with using phones and tablets we allready look like cavemen stearing down :D . If you have to watch up, you use your neck more, that way you get pain after a while, so to have less neck pain , your top margin of your monitor should be unter your eye line.
The top monitor is for mail, Spotify, and other secondary windows I have open. And for reference video when editing content. So I don’t have to use it all the time. The ultrawide OLED G9 is my primary display, so in the long run, it makes more sense to make sure that one is ergonomically aligned, rather than the secondary display 🤙🏻🔥
folks just jelly af to see someone in the same line of work having a set up like this..... ol salty haters... a real human won't nag about a total stranger having nice tings in their life and yet here they are
hahah completely agree with you 😅🤙🏻 But I did feel the need to give some level of context because I've witnessed how talking about equipment could be intimidating for people who are just starting out their careers. They often fall into the false perception that they NEED to have certain equipment to be a professional developer or a designer 🤙🏻💯
In my opinion, it's hard to say one's better than the other. I think it ultimately comes down to your workflow and personal preference. For creative workflows, I prefer to use the Apple ecosystem, but for productivity and multi-tasking, I found the Samsung eco-system to be more efficient 🤙🏻💯
