I have got the 4070 one. This laptop is really amazing with battery life, screen, responsiveness, keyboard, touchpad. thin and light and powerful. games are really amazing. speakers are maybe better or similar with macbook pro (I have 14 pro with m1 pro).
Maybe it would be perfect with upcoming amd version. But I still beed force touch trackpad to be called perfect. Cannot go back to regular touchpads after lenovo z16
It's a great device, although I am not a fan of 2024 Intel chips, as they are a sideways upgrade for performance. I would skip the 2024 Gen 1 Core Ultra and wait for Gen 2. My negatives include the price-£4000 for the 4090 in the UK, so MB Pro M3 Max pricing. However, the limit of only 32GB of RAM is a significant negative for the core creator market. I would say, for the Pro end of the spectrum, that would be a deal-breaker. Thanks!
yea pricing in Europe and UK make it basically the same price as a Razer, if it was the same price as US in UK it would be a no brainer best option, its not though

is the razer 16 oled not better because its basically the same but 175watt? am I missing something ? razer has quieter fans on balanced, I guess the speakers and keyboard are better on this
I was a ROG fan with two m16’s and a flow x16, but ever since I picked up a macbook pro I never used these laptops anymore. I never knew it was possible to edit videos on bed without burning the blanket lol. (Also I just checked out the g16 at best buy and it’s just feels like a piece of low quality plastic with a flappy screen. Wouldn’t consider until they up the quality)
you didn't benchmark this did you? Krait power management has problems with Windows power management and the performance is reduced and inconsistent at best..
Amd strix point refresh is comming. Might get this, but honestly touchpad not being force touch is really bad. I might wait lenovo z16 gen 3 with amd strix point/halo
Matte will ruin the quality. I'd rather have fully reflective than matte. And by the way, the laptop has anti reflection coating on the screen to reduce reflections.
4090 is still more powerful than 4080, 4070, 4060...even at reduced TGP. Whether you think it's worth the price is another matter. Like complaining that Chuck Norris is underpowered with his hands tied behind his back. He can still kick your ass.
dont forget you only get that full 115watt on the G16 on turbo which sounds like a jet engine, where as the Razer 16 on balanced runs at reduced 125watt but quiet so, (still faster) depends what your tolerance is
