Beautiful! I have been following you all for 3 years now. Excited finally going to go tour your tiny homes community. This,Thursday for my bday is my heart desires. Have a 2pm tour. First I want to say to Linda and Sean, you have a beautiful home and I really like the little niches for storage. Amanda and Randy, watching your videos and the lived in homes you tour through has inspired me to begin my downsizing so that I may truly begin living in one of your tiny homes. I think this is the nicest decorated tiny home I have seen. The privacy screens are really beautiful in the bedroom. The couple have delightful personalities. They fit right in with Amanda and Randy.
What a beautiful job they did on decorating that house! Wonderful example of what can be done with some time and imagination! And a little money doesn't hurt either. Did they say where they got those white (? wooden) screens from that they're using as privacy screens up in the loft? I didn't hear that when I watched the video and they are just perfect! @@chezmoi42 Thanks for the suggestion. Seeing how we get a lot of cheap stuff made in the Far East anymore when Googling, it's nice to have a recommendation from people who have a product that looks and feels like a better quality item. Similar to how Linda told us their rolling counter was bought on Amazon. It looks like it may have been a teak, multi-panel wooden room divider that they painted white and cut to fit that area though.
@@joanndaprile9076 Yes, you do have to select for quality, but still, you get all kinds of resource, and frequently even some great items you hadn't thought of when you started out. And of course, Amazon is always right in there in the front of the line, if you really want to buy from them. A lot of us don't.

Nice to meet you , Linda & Shawn (Sean?)!! I love your home and what you've done with it! I'm sure the gravel in front of the house helps cut down on maintenance and the plants out front look so nice! I love the way you decorated with gifts! One of the things I liked the most inside the house was something no one even mentioned, but that screen that you've got upstairs on either side of the loft is so special - I haven't seen anything like that before. If you happen to see this, I'd love to know what the original purpose was and where you got it!
Any time you're curious about things like that, just google it! I put in 'openwork panel screen images'* and got all kinds, from freestanding room dividers to modular squares. I remember when the choices were pretty much limited to rattan or those gorgeous sculptured panels from India. Nowadays, with laser cutters, intricate designs are easy to produce, so there's a ton of choice. *It works for just about anything, from water filters to convertible coffee tables to election results. I'm always so surprised how easily folks forget that all that information is right there for us. Have fun!
Such a beautiful home and sweet people. Highly recommend those shutters. We had Lowes put them in our big house and I really miss them. They kept heat and cold out.
Wow! And I love they have all the animals too! I got 2 dogs a cat, and 55 gallon fish tank. Good to see plenty of room for pets. Like their coffee nook. And hubby is very handy with building stuff too. Funny he got all them kudos... Until the "I have to remind him to put the seat down and not have the fans on at night."
@@girlypotato3211 really, with a 29 gallon should be pretty easy to fit. Living room or bedroom... Probably living room would be best because of all the natural lighting. Would reduce the amount of electricity used just because you wouldn't need to run tank lights as often. If you had a seated bay window, would be great for the tank so it isn't taking up room. Can always set it up on a side table, or for instance... The rolling cabinet they have in the video. That would be extremely helpful/convenient for when you need to clean the tank. All in all.... Not much difference in seeing up a 29 gallon tank in a tiny home than a regular one. Another reason is suggest the rolling cabinet for the tank as well... Is it's somewhere you can keep all the aquarium supplies in one area or of sight.
Putting the tank in a bay window is a really neat idea! I had not thought of that. I do like the rolling cabinets in their house too. Surely if they can live tiny with all those cats, I can with my fish and boyfriend! :) :)
With the little homes and small lots it doesn’t take much make give it a lot of charming curb appeal. What I love about the community is that you do get some yard, but not too much and the wooded environment, instead of being smushed right next to your neighbor on the same on an ugly big parking lot. It really does feel like a nice little established neighborhood.
I just love that the entire main level is living and entertaining space❣️ The window shutters, and fold down table in the bathroom, are great! You've created a very comfortable home.
Linda and Sean....ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL HOME!!! I actually live in a Charleston and love it...I've been here about four (4) months and am "still moving in"...LOL Question for you: Do you mind telling me where you were able to find the shorter (maybe 2' or 4") open partitions you are using in the loft looking down into both rooms below...they are light, open and make the space actually look wonderful. Such a beautiful home - I did not think I would be able to live in the model floor plan (I tend to like the larger ones)but after seeing it fully decorated and looking so beautiful, I definitely think I could live in this size. You both did an amazing job with your tiny home and your lot.
Nice interviews. However, in the future, when you observe people shoe-less in their homes, it would be nice to remove your shoes. They may not ask you to remove your shoes because you guys are their landlords and they don't want to spoil the relationship. It is just an observation that I have made across several of your videos. You two are really doing great with the tiny homes. My family just started building a small compound on 20 acres which was completely wooded when we started. I’m always excited to see people who see the bigger picture.

More and more in this country people are taking their shoes off when they enter a home. I didn't grow up like that and it took a while for me to get used to it. Now when I enter a person's home, I first check out their feet and then I know whether to take off or leave on my shoes. I see at just a few minutes into this video Randy took his shoes off (it was edited out) Kudos to Randy for the inborn respect he has for people.
I love the community setting in the forest. You need to get Google Streets car to drive through and video record your streets. Amanda is looking ravishing! Cute little house. Beautiful outside landscaping.

So they were going to be in the Mountain, Randy put their home in the Forest until their lot was ready, and they fell in love with that location. Nice location, nice home, nice neighbors. A great job making this their home.
Thank you for the tour of your home, you did a great job decorating and making it functional. Can someone who has one tell me the max width for the fridge area, please? I know Randy has said a 10 cubic ft fridge will fit but the two refrigerators I’m looking at have slightly different widths.

I have those shutters, my found found someone throwing them out since they were remodeling, but they were less than half a year old. Had enough for the whole house. They are great for keeping the cold out.
