We all know the official hotels won't compare to how awesome and detailed this mod is if they ever make it into the game.

It's incredible to me how players consistently make amazing and in-depth mods FOR FREE when EA can't be bothered to put in a fraction of an effort and have the audacity to charge the prices they do. This mod looks super good, thanks for reviewing and kudos to the creator!

At this point EA should be paying mod creators for they're hard work. Mods clearly work a lot better than anything EA puts out, and modders routinely update their mods which helps the game run smoothly. EA needs a major reality check.

Its still so wild to me that Modders are making the best (unofficial and free mind you!) mods that are essentially legitimate expansions that EA could make themselves but they would never. Oh, the fact a modder is able to make a full pack experience with pretty much ZERO issues yet EA cant release a pack without modders fixes their issues blows my mind at this point.

This reminds me so much of Sims 2 Bon Voyage and I LOVE IT. I honestly think they did hotels the best in that game and I love how this mod encapsulates everything from that and more. It makes me want to play Sims 4 and I haven't touched the game in literal years.

Island resort would be so dope! Especially because hotel pack in ts3 is super glitchy.

BUILD SUGGESTION I think you should do a luxury adult only boutique hotel with a total of 5 rooms. This would be 5 stories high: Ground floor has the lobby, reception, staff break room, bathroom, kitchen, main guest dining area, and gym 2nd and 3rd floor would have two hotel rooms each 4th floor is a celebrity penthouse 5 floor is the rooftop entertainment space with bar

OMG! This mod is incredibile and it could be super realistic! As a builder and a person who worked at the Front Desk in Marriott for almost a decade - and in different part of the world - since that CC are not needed it makes me want to build a resort for family (actually based on where I worked) and maybe a more Adult Only/Business Hotel in the cities! Build a haunted retro motel in Strangerville, near the trailer park! Put a lot of alien and conspiracy theory stuff in there and give it a kitschy 1950s Retro Luxe plastic look.

Does anyone know why EA doesnt just compensate a modder and do whatever changes necessary to make the mod official expanded base game? With the recency romance mod, royalty mod and different modded careers available it seems ridiculous the base game is so lacking.

Loved this. Do more gameplay of a hotel you make. Maybe your sim gets kicked out by her landlord and staying at some hotel and you you come up with something for her to do while she waits to move.

I needed something to get excited about Sims 4 again. This is it. FWIW, the reason time doesn't speed up when you're sleeping is because the mod probably looks at ALL the activity in the hotel, just like if you were to go to sleep in your own home but you have guests over. Time would not speed up there either. Now, if the manual speed override doesn't work, that's something else. Time may not speed up completely but it should go faster than normal speed. I'll test this myself and see what I come up with. Anyway, thanks for this video. You're my favorite Simmer.

Thank you so much for introducing Lot 51's mod to us all. It looks amazing. I would be very, very happy to watch you build and do a Let's Play in whatever kind of motel you feel you'd enjoy best. I do like the idea of Shanice as runaway teen, saving up her pennies to buy and manager her place, going from a rundown motel to a luxury hotel. That transformation would really showcase the mod's various features and let you stretch your building muscles. :D

I know that might be a weird request, but maybe you could make a short let's play with this mod? Make teen Shanice and her sister runaway teenagers who are kicked out from home. They have to go to school and work to get by. Or maybe just a challenge on how long it will take to own a pre-made starter home while working and paying rent in a motel.

the motel in the beginning is 100% inspired by the motel in my name is earl. or at least every run down southern motel. i used to build tons of these in sims 3 years ago.

BUILD SUGGESTION: Can you make one of those small proper hotels (rooms either side of an internal corridor, rather than a motel type)... one longish building with two floors... Maybe have 6 "playable" bedrooms, with a number of other "dummy" rooms (supposed to be guest bedrooms, but empty and locked, to pad out the building and make it look like a larger hotel), on the first floor. Have a bar room, and a restaurant, along with the reception area on the ground floor, Maybe a basement gym, pool and spa area? Not a flea pit, but not luxury luxury either... A bit "Travelodge/Premier Inn", but with additional facilities.

I actually had 2 hotels i built along time ago to work as shelter for homeless sims and rags to riches. both are small dingy motel and cabin style lots but with For Rent turned them into actual hotels i didn't have to cheat the money to "stay the night" anymore.

I made a hotel with many rooms. I didn’t finish it. But I also didn’t have a mod, I just wanted to make a hotel and seeing this is absolutely amazing and I’m going to download it. I would just make 6 rooms that they can go in and the rest will have to be rooms that won’t be counted as a room to rent out.

I've wanted hotels for so long. I used to have the resort mod but the modder gave up on it, I believe. It rarely worked. I'm SO excited to play again because of this mod!

I can’t build, I will love any hotel build you do. I think any world would work with the hotel mod. Sulani of course would be a great destination hotel. I’ve always looked for something like this for when my sims get married. A little hotel resort would be nice.

This seems to be a very cool mod. It’s amazing what modders can do. This is something EA should do for the game for better gameplay. Even though the mods are great, I just can’t use mods and have to worry about updating every time EA puts out a new patch. I had used some mods in the past and they broke my game (even though EA does enough of that on their own, putting out broken and buggy packs).

Honestly I would love a let's play series using the hotel somehow. Idk how you'd do it but there's more detail in the mod than EA expansions anyways 🤣
