No, the drama with David is absolutely stupid. The people involved in this story are somehow even dumber than Isaac and company when they decided to waste THREE HOURS OF FUEL driving at the pace of a group's walking speed. I am absolutely flabbergasted at just how stupid most of the people in Scott's stories are, it's beyond comprehension. The nurse didn't bother to check the knife? Josh didn't stop and say "Wait, want to check this while you're at it? I was clubbed from behind and I think the wound needs to be cleaned. I'll wait until after you're done patching up my assailant." Nah, why would he want to try and defend himself? And somehow half of the dumbasses there refuse to believe there are cannibals out there? Furthermore, how the fuck does a group like that grow to the numbers Scott is suggesting they have? You'd think the larger settlements would, after having banded together five years ago, send out parties on seek & destroy missions before that shit became a real problem like it is now. Then again, Isaac and gang are involved in that mess, so I'm less surprised now that I stopped to question it.

I know, this series has been great but this episode is hard to listen to because it's absolutely implausible. Ragland didn't even try to defend himself either or explain what happened. Absolutely garbage writing. The whole town suddenly hates you and you don't explain yourself to anyone? Also, refusal to defend the town against cannibals you know are coming? It's like a total different writer wrote this episode one they got to town. I hope the preceding episodes aren't like this one.

I know it's implausible. Human nature would have been to explain what happened but the writer has lost his mind. This episode is so unbelievable and cringy.

Of course women would be tough in the type of life they are living - there would be little to no difference between the sexes in a survival of the fittest world.

@@cinmor7843 wow...uhh so yes women would be more tough than women in "normal" times but to say there would be little to no difference between the sexes is just insane, look at early humans in a survival of the fittest scenario we know for a fact there were huge...huge...differences between the sexes, males were much stronger, more physical, more aggressive than females and it showed in the different roles of males and females, we are still like this, even in this story males are doing the harder physical labor, hunting, soldiering, builders, blacksmithing etc and women are doctoring, washing, planting, librarian, florist...I don't see how you could possibly think there wouldn't be a huge difference between the sexes in any situation it's not a disrespect of women this is just biological fact and has been proven over and over again.
