That scared me! I thought the oil filter had water in it. I see by the box it is a fuel filter. Good idea. Maybe check fuel pressure, pump could be failing. Check the spark plugs and wires they may be the cause of the surging engine. You need a rail and a chain hoist to lift heavy onto the back of the truck maybe. You crazy kids should be married, right?
