Oh man, the memory lane this took me down. Audience reactions in real time, could not agree more. People were laugh/screaming so hard in the screening of Wedding CrashersI attended that I couldn't hear the dialogue. Really appreciate being a fly on the wall for this thoughtful conversation, thank you for continuing to make the show! Also, totally agree with Bilge. THE VILLAGE is such a masterpiece.

Full audience experience really enhances the movie! We recently went to the symphony that played the music to Star Wars "A New Hope" while showing the movie. Having the live music was awesome, but being young enough to have not had the chance to see that movie in theatres and to experience it with a very full auditorium was AMAZING!

My wife screams out VERY loud during any sudden surprising thing on the screen, so we have not taken her to a theater in many years. The deal breaker was Matt Damon's death in Interstellar. Packed house at the IMAX theatre @ Minnesota Zoo, we were near the top middle and EVERYONE looked at us after her scream. 'Minnesota Nice' they were not (MN Nice is a myth anyways). So, unless it's a harmless comedy, we aren't going to the theater. And like you all said, they don't show comedies in theaters anymore.

The appeal of the post apocalyptic culture is basically all about the violence and using conventional weapons on each other, live. All the action movies that were discussed, basically involves violence upon our fellow humanoids. Who hasn't liked these movies, and not gotten a firearm to keep in their home?

Before the recent pandemic, theaters were dwindling and shrinking. So the "experience" of being "in" a legitimate theater has diminished - you're better off watching it at home, without the nuisances that haves invaded society in today's tiny theaters.

I have nothing against people who react to what is going on on the screen. I alone react to everything I see, I gasp, I laugh, I cry & I talk (yes, "come on man" happens fairy often). But the audience today is not doing that. They talk on whatsapp, scroll through Tiktok, listen to potcasts/audiobooks, chatt with each other & much more. Sometimes it feels they went to the movies as a punishment.

Imax Big disappointment - for Anson, coz he would be so into this, and seriously laughing his ass off while trying to naht fall off of the chair.
