also i remember when i first watched the show i genuinely thought maya's death was fake because i thought theres no way since it made no sense to the plot

I'm not even surprised the writers abandoned the whole Ezra's book storyline. If they wanted fans to keep rooting for Ezria, they needed them to forgive (or at least forget) what he did asap cause not just the showrunners clearly didn't plan that storyline properly, but dragging it would've allowed audiences to actually process how fucked up it was and might've turned their backs on him completely.

24:00 well Mona addressed it multiple times. She addressed it with Aria after the charges were dropped about Wilden’s death. Then again when Alison took the lie detector test she iced out when the girls gathered around Spencer. She didn’t verbally say anything but her face said it all. Then again when Aria was on the🅰️team she addressed it with Hanna & asked her “How many times do I have to save up guys before I’m finally apart of the group?” In my opinion she was done so dirty. Mona would literally go above & beyond to help the girls & they would just continue to ice her out & she just kept coming back. I get that she was🅰️at 1 point but so was Spencer & Aria. Plus all of the girls had fights with each other but got over it quickly. It was just annoying.

I'm 100 percent convinced that Julian Morris would've been Charles, but... He wasn't availlable at the time. I truly believe it. That is why they forced him into the A.D. line at the end to try to tie it up. I think that the part Archer Dunhill got which was shown in the series finale, but happened after Cece boared the plane as Vivian with those glasses, was originally supposed to be just Wren and Cece. If you look back on it, especially Cece flirting with Jason in season 3, everything just hints at Wren being Big A aka Charles and Cece being his girlfriend/accomplice like a Bonnie and Clyde situation.

the whole Cece being A didn’t make sense. if she killed Alison and watched their mom burry her. but Cece was also helping Alison and knew she was alive this whole time. and then she said she hated the girls for the way they were living their lives after Alison and that’s why she tortured them. and then at the end she says she did it all to be with her family and blah blah blah.
