I'm amazed that massive tree was able to stand upright once they finally got that last piece out, given that humongous face cut these guys made. Some of the worst tree felling examples i've seen :)
By cutting such a large notch they wasted time labor. Never should needed whacking on that, or even the use of that bar . Rakers set to cut larger chips. These certainly aren't Proffessionals
@@adrianwright8685looks like a Biden operation. You get Hunter to cut down the tree because " he's the smartest person you know". Joe would be so proud.
What a shame. That tree was older than the United States of America and these fools cut it down. And than they cut it in summer with all the moisture in it. It is ridiculous and disgusting to see this.
Dang, what did that tree ever do to you? Death from a thousand cuts. He will get ya back come A/C time, with a sky high electric bill. Not a dead limb or rot anywhwere. Beautiful tree.
Do yourselves a HUGE favor: Sell the chainsaw and take a pledge to never NEVER go anywhere near another chainsaw for the rest of your life. Incredible incompetence.
I have done some incredibly dumb things in my time, but this crew makes me look like a freaking genius. 👍 Thanks for posting. I'm going to show it to my wife so she can see how smart I actually am. 😂
@dundeeecroc OP Why cut a healthy 200yr tree? Me better than a rotten 250yr tree You the tree wasn't rotten at all Do you need help getting dressed in the morning.
@@dand33911 if the stump is till there, I 'd advise you to count the tree growth rings, one ring equals one year of growth, once you've done that, report back to us. thank you!
We run some of the biggest sawmills in the Appalachian mountains in ky, and not to mention cut some of the biggest trees!!.. I started cutting trees when I was 6 years old, we try not to make a career of cutting trees in one day!...you boys be careful and never stand in front of where you got carried away!! on your first notch!!.. I've known several people in my lifetime that have gotten killed by doing the exact same thing...
There are a few basic principles in cutting down a tree, they could start with learning #1, and maybe practicing on 6- or 10-inch trees for a week or so.
Indeed; I was thinking the same the other day; the small tree I planted a few years back is now grown shading the front part of my home cooling it during the warm summer. Hope it will stay healthy long!
Yesterday I couldn't spell tree service technichian....TODAY I ARE ONE!!! I need to pray for those guys.... Never seen someone run on there knees before!!! Hope his luck never runs out.😮🙏🙏😇😇😇😇😇😇😇 ( his flight of "guardian angels").
That tree was providing a lot of needed shade even if it was a bit close to the house. The most difficult thing to endure by far was the moron whose parents never taught him to wear his pants properly or teach him what a belt was used for.
The sad part is that the tree had smarter people around it when it was young but as the many years have passed the people have gotten, well let’s just say not very smart. Such a shame. Hard to hold a camera and a beer and talk all at the same time. Two out of three suffered and it for sure wasn’t the beer that was last. Wow, just wow.
@@johnkirk5619I would have to agree with you, although it did come down good and didn't look like anyone got hurt, I definitely would have made my back cut about 4" higher than the bottom of the notch to help prevent kickback, and I believe I would have cut higher up so I could comfortably stand and stay on my feet instead of kneeling to make my cuts.
There wasn't anything country about these boys!!..we live in the Appalachian mountains and run some of the biggest sawmills... I could have dropped that tree in 10 minutes!!....
Contrast this with videos of people who do this for a living. Professional arborists have this down to a science; these guys are a hope and a prayer. That said, cutting that tree ruined the look of that property. The tree added a lot of character to the lot and took your focus away from the shitty structures around it.
Would make a great competition.. Identify how many health risks you can see or, potential...? A great training tool..! It was the most unsettling video I've seen for a while...
Not just amusing. Astonishing that no one was hurt and killed in the making of this video. I can’t name one thing that was done properly. God helped this tree land on target. It certainly wasn’t knowledge, skill or technique
This is like a county road crew. One guy works, the other three stand around and watch. But on a county road crew they have to wear protective gear. Oh, and kudos to the camera man. I only had to throw up twice.
