For any one who want this build to be updated, I can say from my experience that it’s still working amazing. The only Change I made is to have sharpend on the front bar and changing the ulti to ice comet or something else (cause the nerf to defile)
Wow! What build! Magblade is my favorite class and I thank you enormously for such an in-depth explanation. I am still in the process of working through a different build, but this one is so so tempting I might give it a try now haha. I have a couple of questions: 1) What would you change, if anything, for a non-cp variation of the build? 2) Again, for a "theoretical" non cp build, would you choose malacath or 3450 penetration or 481 spell damage? It's an odd question, indeed =) As you can probably see, I am running spinner's and new moon (and the nightmare monster set), so I am trying to think what to sacrifice in order to fit malacath in. If that matters I am a kajiit. Overall, you have a fantastic channel. Getting a like, subscribe and a bell button from me.
For no cp, I'd change nothing - but after I research traits, I guarantee I'll use 2-3 well fitted. Second question, I'd take malacath all day long, especially if it lets you keep heavy armour
Very cool build, levelling my magblade now and will be running this! Would you recommend 1pc Trainee over 4pc Warlock after the Armour of the Trainee change?
What would you think about new moon instead of the warlock? Obviously it’d be less recovery but I didn’t figure sustain was an issue with the argonian pot passive, ele drain and siphoning. Cheers man!
because you have heavy and no reduce cost, its pretty necessary to have the rec - but if you like low sustain, high dmg builds, definitely give it a go - especially if you can make space for meditate
Great build but I’ve got a quick question here ... couldn’t you just change your jewelry glyphs to Magik damage which would be well over 700 spell damage and use a different set other than clever alchemist ... at that points your spell damage is atleast static also freeing up a set .... ADG / NMA / TBS I think any of these with those adjustments would be viable ...
If I’m running a maelstrom resto staff as you recommended should I change the mundus to pen or mag or spell dmg instead due to the added sustain. As I’m running that build without the malacath band!
So there are no real drawbacks so long as you keep the right 6 piece backbar - its an interesting suggestion, and if you can sustain could be great. I reckon the reduce cost of light 2x makes a difference, but it is definitely worth a shot!
@@Blobeso I already had Clever resto, and couldnt got Warlock inferno drop so I have tried it today. Magicka sustain taking some getting used to but I'm loving the build! Feels like the old days from a few years ago being able to tank players and kite them out. Boy do you run through pots though! I'm not poor but I'd blow through my cash running the expensive pots so I opted for RAT. Thanks for such a unique build Blob! Missed my magblade ❤
This seems like a fantastic dueling build, but likely a weak open world and 1vX type of build. I can't imagine how getting 5 light attack stacks within a short time frame (since the stacks decay) would be feasible if you have multiple targets running around each other.
I already have played this open world on stream many times - its very viable... But that of course depends if you are zerging. If you are solo, you already focus one target, so building up the 5 works just fine
@@asmrgalaxydude9594 You can craft it with this combinaison : Powdered Mother of Pearl + Butterfly Wing + Namira's Rot There are other combinaisons possible, but I think this one is the cheaper (still bloody expensive tho)
Could you make a magicka nightblade build based on shadowy disguise? Or is inv totally useless now? The only reason I play nightblade is to go invisible :/
I have run selens web ober 200 times in 4 days and have not picked up a resto staff, I am starting to think you are the only one that has it lol is there a faster way to get it or is it up to RNG?
I got resto 2nd run and all the pieces in like 6 or 7 runs. I couldn't get a neck but got last run telling what I'm looking for ,make sure you tell people what you need. Most are more than happy to give you. I got everything but the damn shoulder and can't even get the right set of the two out the coffer for 5 keys lol
Hey blobs what would you recommend using for a magden? Think this could work? Literally only played stam dk but I got bored so I switched up to magden.
RedBeard Viking can confirm the lag is as bad if not worse than ever. Plus there is a ton of new bugs the only thing keeping me playing is that there is a ton of build diversity this patch
Just ran this that last couple hours , magblade is probably my weakest class. Open world it was tanky as you can want and had opportunities offensively. I don't know if it's a console thing but the proc on monster set seems a little buggy. I did go 10-0-23 first bgs on it though . Seems like the only way to proc monster is by animation canceling dealing bars. Doesn't seem to matter of they are cc the entire time and I fire off 5 lights on a row,it's too slow unless you are bar swapping . Just my experience so far, did get a nice proc on a dick head I don't care for though so that made it worth the while
@@Blobeso I play on console so there is no way to track, but I found out the problem. If you spam the light attacks it bugs. You have to weave and have them all hit about a second apart
Nice build... becaus im lazy like hell, my gear look differend don't have warlock but have spell strategist, clever resto, spell strategist fire and Breton... work great too :)... swap to resto, drink potion, swap to fire, put mark and dps them... like i say... im too lazy for farm dungeon set :)

I asked you in a previous comment what the ingredients were .... despite my multiple Tries to get a response you didn’t answer so I figured it out myself .... literally the cost to make is over 5 k per 4 .... yup ... fantastic build ...
I openly say in this video that (1) this build is very expensive and (2) there is a far cheaper version using only lingering health + vitality pots (No speed)
Dude there's no issue with the healing everyone keeps saying there is. There's really not. My vigor are hitting for 33k. My honer the deads are hitting for 24k not really issue. And i haven't charged my build at all. I think its just everone doesn't know what they're doing. Yall keep changing your sets so much so obviously build play will be different and your heals will suck.
@@Blobeso just tried it, and holy crap does it make you a tank, Synergizes with argonian and magblade especially since there are hots going on all over the place
Magblade feels ded af this patch not gonna lie. It was difficult but rewarding before, now it just feels straight up disadvantaged. Needing to go heavy and use procs should just say it all... Fuck that. I've packed it all in and just running a troll ganker build. It not the most fun but whatever, the class is busted.
