Imagine walking into a guitar center and asking for a 845 inch drum head.

Imagine having people standing shoulder to shoulder all around this playing in unison. The sound would be immense.

That's what I like to see, people who bring happiness to the world.

Love the dancing troll dolls, but even better was all the glow stuf, especially the ball in slo mo....really mesmerizing !

I bet his kids or grandkids love that thing. They can use it as a trampoline :D

it would be very interesting to see what Dame Evelyn Glennie could do with your drum. She is renowned as the world's greatest percussionist. You'd be amazed at the sounds she can pull out of various different percussive instruments. I think it would be fun if she had the chance to play your drum and make music with it. That is a pretty impressive piece of work. Thanks for sharing.

our 14 foot drum is hard to hear on video even with 25 people hitting it, I think you would have to mic up the bigger drums to get the effect on video. our drum is so loud we were drowning out a full sound system at a festival which surprised me!

So, what material is the head made from? Have you ever played it by hitting the center (the sweet spot) of the head? What kind of tone does it produce? Do you actually tune it to a certain pitch also? SUGGESTION: I'd also let it double as a swimming pool, too.

I think so too. White Ego Woman is a white woman trying to pass herself off as Native. This guy is just there to make a great sounding drum, and isn't trying to pass himself off as anything he isn't. He plays a heck of a lot better than she does too. Cheers!

It's a special nylon and kevlar mix, I think.
