The Drumvaich crossing Signal box Scotland. 

It was an untimetabled station used by schoolchildren from 1927. It is not known how long it was used.

Was it a landslide that closed this line? I remember reading that a railway line heading to Oban that also went through Crianlarich was closed permanently because of the landslide and I'm wondering if this was part of that particular line 🤔

@@garethgilmour9021 It was Dr Richard Beeching who axe this line and a lot of others back in the sixties

@@dounevillageanddouneponds8348 I'm not surprised that he was behind it's demise, I live in Johnstone and there 2 routes near me that was once part of the Paisley Canal Railway which used to run into St Enoch. The line from Johnstone North Station to Ardrossan was axed in the 60s by Beeching and BR in their infinite wisdom closed the Kilmacolm line in the early 80s along with Paisley Canal, only for the Canal station to be reopened in 1990 but terminates in at the Canal Station the rest is a cycle path now 😔
