MY THOUGHTS:
Ahhh the Duality. I was asked to take a look at this board SO many times. I'm glad you all asked, but it is a great piece. Sound signature wise it appears to have to a deeper overall sound signature which is probably a plus to a lot of people, and depending on the mounting style you choose, it also has a medium - firm feeling to it. Looks wise, I really like the gentle curves on the bottom and the gorgeous side profile on this guy. The top badge and bottom detailing on the weight may not be your cup of tea, but I thought it was neat.
The problems I ran into were the screws not being magnetic and the major thing being the weight was hard and awkward to take out of the bottom casing to get into the daughter board area. All the issues I address in the video I'm told are going to be fixed and worked on for the final release.
Overall a great project that runs on the more expensive side at $520, but if you're after a designer piece with a lot of thought put into it, I think this may be it. Is it worth that money? Only you can really answer that! Remember there are a lot of great board all at various prices, it really comes down to if you like all the features and design in a board.
