Skin conversation: Guys, Legendary skins have new animations as well as VFX and Sound FX. That is why legendary skins "feel" the MOST different. Besides Legendaries, Epic and under all have standard, same animations, frames, etc as the vanilla/classic champion. Regardless of skin type or tier, they all MUST be the same, to avoid art interfering with performance. Skins that have been banned from competitions are those that fail in that regard, maybe having effects that are difficult to see and whatever else might potentially interfere with performance. If you "feel" a skin is good or bad, that is then up to your personal tastes, thankfully there are so many skins with different themes all designed to appeal to the playerbase. If a skin makes you happy, you feel better, and likely you'll perform better because of those positive feelings. That is the psychology behind it, in my opinion.
The "feel" mostly relates to auto attacking champions . I can say that a skin like god staff jax "feels" better than wardens because of how clean the model and affects are making it easier to kite or cancel auto attacks with W . Of course at higher levels of play , players depend on timing rather than animations for cancelling because they just know the champions to the microseconds.
I used to main Yasuo but I would say something about Project just feels gigabad. I tested it out and grinded a lot of Yasuo games trying out different skins in a row (I have most of them except the recent ones) and I have a harder time winning with Project compared to High Noon, Nightbringer, KDA, Blood Moon and Truth Dragon. There was a superstition among Yasuo players that Project is cursed.
@@Geheimnis-c2e don't let anyone tell you otherwise, Project Yasuo has different animations than base or any other skin even tho it's an epic skin. It was my first Yasuo skin, and it's terrible to play if you aren't just used to every skin like Naayil is with Aatrox skins. Even the wiki states: "This skin has unique attack animations, along with only having three animations compared to the other skins' four."
I do think some skins do change the feel of the champions, like ezreal when compared to pulsefire ezreal. Where the autos animation looks slower to create more impact to it which does change the feel of it. Spirit Sett where the sound is different when using your autos, where sounds do also changes the feel of the champion. Sorry for the rant.
Gangplank is a beautiful example. Auto attacks and matter A LOT on that champ and you can definitely tell that some Champs have worse feeling autos than others. It's all about the timings and exact animations. Also, toy soldier Gangplank's walking animation. Skin has a gimmickx which completely changes it's feel.
The sterak shows shield based on your current hp but since you havent bought the sterak yet thats why it was low (500+ hp) if you buy the item it will go up to 700+ hp
@@widinugroho4828 fed adcs all have their own niche and feeling. Like a fed draven with two-three shots. Fed ezreal as an unstopable skirmisher you cant jump at all. Fed jinx makes you lose every single teamfight where anyone makes even the tiniest mistake. Aphelios is a pure stat stick. His ability levels just give ad, as and lethality. Most of the time if he is fed, he kills your entire team front to back at a very steady pace, with maybe 1 play from his ult.
Actually some legendary skins have some smoother animations that make the movement of the character feel more comfortable and easier to take advantage of movement. The time an auto takes to be shot is still the same but the animation of the skin makes it easier to hit it on time
happens to me a lot and its just happeend today, i out performed everyone and lost and then i got second place and win because i got carried by a good team, this game is more luck than skill u are good but u win only if you get lucky.
my only complaints about the skin is that the vfx should be on default aatrox when he got reworked, not because I don't have the skin or anythin 🤣, like especially the sword, look at that springy flexible like effect when he autos or qs, very reminiscent of old aatrox
I'm just mad that the old Aatrox vibe with his bending sword is wasted on this Skinline. imagine old Aatrox bending sword on Ashen knight it was the perfect combination and they wasted it on a goofy skinline like anima squad.
Hubris bad for dueling early. Unless you get really lucky and get massive level advantage and win lane before first item or full boot build. Which in this case you don't need to buy an actual dueling/fighting item to win lane. Go hubris first or 2nd. So you can stack earlier. If thats the case.
Yea skin feeling is a perceived thing but also there are skins that just feel off-putting like mecha rengar with his awful q animation. Some animations/sound effects just make champions in perception way easier because the aa anim or sound is just designed with a feedback back when i played a lot of adc the right skin decided if i canceled an auto or not because i came from rythm games to league and I'm just loving a good audio feedback queue up my next aa just perfectly early game
for me god king darius is similar in a skin that can “feel” both good and bad. i think q feels way better on that skin but the w feels clunky sometimes and causes me to miss time my auto w’s or last hits
@@kainakrit9311 i don’t know. the speed at which his axe moves isn’t linear, it like speeds up as it gets close, so it makes his autos almost feel slower, so i w before my first auto connect. for me at least
so god skin darius sfx doesnt feel oppressive?, honestly whatevver that guy does it makes me extreme aware, but when i play against other skins im like meh its okay
