Years right after the now-famous actor "Jim Carrey" started acting, he starred in his first public appearance on prime time television, called "The Duck Factory" a live-action/animated sitcom that was aired on NBC on Thursdays from April 12, 1984 until May 24, 1984, until it was moved to Wednesdays from June 6, 1984 until its final confusing episode of the series on July 11, 1984, resulting its cancellation of the series, it was produced by MTM Enterprises Inc, it starred Jim Carrey as Skip Tarkenton, a cartoonist of his works of Dippy Duck at Buddy Winkler Productions after the creator of Dippy, Buddy Winkler retired, along with a wacky, comedic cartoon duck character that appeared in some animated segments of "The Dippy Duck Show" which he is not-so Donald Duck or Daffy Duck, Dippy Duck, voiced by a well-known voice-actor "Don Messick" and for one episode, he was voiced by another well-known actor, "Frank Welker." The theme song from the show was "Sure Beats Working for a Living" performed by Mark Vieha.
