From a Adobe Flash Player game to Consoles… It really has evolved through the years.

I’m surprised the weird ducks found off-screen in Duck Life 1 weren’t mentioned.

I am a fan of the Duck Life saga, but I was surprised that it literally has an iceberg, and researching at the time, I didn't find any :( even so, thank you for making a video talking about the iceberg of this great game :D

Pretty interesting that the purple duck is the adventuring duck. This must mean that Marco and Mother also used to live in the Duck life 4 grasslands.

Duck Life space does have multiplayer, at least on the mobile version. After beating the game, you can connect your facebook account and race against friends, but I've never tried it due to not having a facebook account. The cut final boss theme is great, even better than the one we actually got, which is already pretty good. I don't see why the DL2 cutscene duck being the DL1 duck is so low down, I thought it was obvious even on my first playthrough

*Long text warning* As someone who doesn't like the remake/mobile version of DL4 I will give my reasons: - Some soundtrack got changed and I don't like them (specially the running training one, that one really annoys me and the Title screen) - The animations of the ducks, I don't know how to explain this but if you played the original and the remake you might understand - The aesthetic of the world, its more cartoony instead of the flat no outline environment and I prefer the old one - Nostalgia (even though the gap of when I played both versions is really short), there is just something about the og version that I love, don't know what it is, maybe how the games feel, the good old times Does it means its bad? Of course not, its the same game with some changes outside of gameplay, don't feel ashamed of liking it over the og version. My all time favorite DL game is 3, I really love 3, I remember when I saw my duck evolve and got legs I was mad cuz he looked ugly lol Thats all I have to say, great video and goodbye

It would be interesting to get a somewhat creepy fan game that's based on the lore from first 4 games, mainly the aspects of how humans dissapeard and the modified ducks (maybe even other stuff) idk how it would work though also, monster truck maniac series was really cool, i wish they would make another game (and finally, great iceberg!)

[About the release date issue part just to add] The creator confirmed that Duck Life's release date was indeed February 28th, 2010. (He confirmed this in a email when I had asked him)

I love this series of game, it's too iconic and the lore goes super deep, especially from Duck Life 3 to Duck Life 4.

for some reason, at the ducks killed humans i was scared shitless for some reason, the image of the scary ass version of the goofy ahh duck in the black screen just in the corner watching you scared me and made me skip the entire part also, yes it's obvious that DL2 cutscene former champion duck is your duck, with the crown, so basically it's your duck trying to overtake your duck, practically it will be an inception

minitheory of your theory: your duck in DL3 might have survived the war and is actually living in the town but hidden so noone really knows except you, or your duck.

The unused DL4 final race theme is an absolute banger, even though some parts of it could've been better. Great video Edit: I stumbled on the files of the old version of DL4 mobile and found that there are some assets and unused hairstyles. These hairstyles also appear in the trailers and the Harlem Shake music video on mofunzone's channel. Additionally, in the HTML/post-2017 Mobile/Steam versions, the Top Hat is in the files, but is unobtainable in-game. The only way to find it is by random from an enemy duck in a tournament

fun fact: if you manage to download duck life so you can play it in a window, you can see offscreen by making it wider, this allows you to see something SO OBSCURE IT'S NOT EVEN IN ANY ICEBERG, A DUCK, LIKE AN ACTUAL DUCK, NOT LIKE THE DUCKS IN THE GAME, AN ACTUAL DUCK DRAWN IN THE STYLE OF THE DUCKS OF THE GAMES, I KID YOU NOT IT"S THERE AND IT'S KINDA CREEPY

Hi there! I absolutely loved your video because I’ve been diving deep into the DL lord and stuff too. Be prepared to read some stuff here lol Regarding Mother’s name, her name is actually Marcy! It’s on the DL Wiki, and I’m also an editor on there (I actually amped up her page a while back to give more info). I have also added a page for Purple Duck and I will be sure to add his appearance in Battle as well. One more thing, I had the exact same theory regarding the humans! The only thing I thought of was that the humans transported all the modified ducks to one area, and so in DL4 when your main duck pushes the bomb and blows up the volcano, I think that this was a special attack that only affected humans because I think the Fire Duck probably had something against them. Dory being a duck from the start also probably meant she had to witness her original human trainer die (which is really upsetting because I love Dory so much ;-;) Okay I’m done typing now lol

Another thing i should mention is what happens when you hack the ending of duck life 3. (This was from trippypepper) When you have very high levels (over 10k) at the very last race, without hitting domo kun, you get flung into oblivion, but you eventually fall at some point. When the other duck wins, and the countdown is done, they game is ever so slightly broken. When you reach the placement, every other duck is disqualified, except for an orange duck. (Don't know how the colors work) and you end up being 4th. But duck life 3 doesn't have an option to change languages, and the text at the bottom is french for some reason, but from my understanding, I think it translates to this. (You have already won this race, and you just won again. Wow!) I think it was a bug in the code of the game, but i'm not sure if trippy played the steam version of it

Some interesting facts about Duck life 2013 (DL4 remake) In the Steam version most of the training games can be played using only your mouse because they left the mobile controls in for the games that didn’t use onscreen buttons for some reason There are a bunch of glitches for the game that were all pretty much discovered by me and they are hard to explain so for now I will give you a name for them Backwards Upside down Flying (B.U.F) Backwards Upside down Jumping (B.U.J) Disgusting eye (I don’t like this one) Duck duplication Invisible platform Purple dot Outside of Duck Life 2013 you should have mentioned the Duck life 2 in-game Cheats and it’s level editor. The level editor was really buggy but only for the players Duck and not the AI Duck Flash Duck Life 3 has achievements. The final climbing game has lava you can speed up/slow down using the up and down arrows which has been removed from all other versions and is now just a harder version of the first climbing game On the web version of Duck Life 3 there is a glitch where no matter what Duck you pick once you complete stage 1 your Duck will become the climbing Duck (making completing the game with the other ducks impossible) and evolve twice putting you in stage 3 where you can train your duck’s stats to level 150 skipping the need to do the stage 2 training, but since you haven’t completed stage 2 the stage 3 races will be locked until you complete the stage 2 races the trailer for the Retro Pack is the only the Flaying Duck actually flaps it’s wings, as in the game the wings aren’t animated

another interesting thing that should be deep in the iceberg is a screen present in the flash version of ducklife 3 and 4 to keep unauthorized people from entering . it’s a single screen with a lock symbol and a message saying: Locked Sorry, Ducklife _ is sitelocked to (sitename) then it would either tell you what website to play it on, or tell you when the game will get unlocked

Are you going to make a remastered iceberg video since duck life 9 released? If so, you should add achievements somewhere in the iceberg. basically, in the flash duck life games (not sure if they are on unity too), there were achievements you could get for completing certain tasks. I only remember achievements from the flash version of duck life 3, but there might be other duck life games that have achievements too.
