Saw this at Mammoth. Came for an action comedy, stayed for existential musings on the meaning of masculinity. No notes. Was WAY better than I expected it to be, really really fun!!
Crazy I was just talking to my coworkers about how we miss the days when people could just duel each other ceremoniously rather than these random acts of violence nowadays. If people were still brawling in congress also the age of the people in office would go back down cause they wouldn't be able to keep up throwing hands.
The Pacific Ocean is actually Lake Michigan. The mansion belongs to the Mel Simon family. The bar scene was filmed at the Inferno Room in Fountain Square.
Please no. Can we just stop turning every single thing into a series or a franchise until it gets so bloated and worn out that I don't even want to watch the original? Just let good movies stay good movies and move on to something else.
This looks so great, I’m a massive The Walking Dead fan so as soon as I saw Callan McAuliffe FINALLY has a proper starring role in this film (which is so deserves btw!) I added it to my must watch list!! But does anyone know when this will be available in the UK? I’m itching to watch it as soon as I can!
I have not seen it yet. But those I know who have, love it. An absurdist dark comedy. Which is right up my ally. And the indie promotion for the film has been spectacular. Point is. Im hyped to see this.
All the reviews were 8-10 out of 10 on IMDB, but the rating on the site is low which makes absolutely no sense to me. Great acting in a dark and sad story. Some humorous moments. Forgiveness is a virtue, unfortunately not everyone possesses. The ending left a lasting impression.
WAIT. HEAR ME OUT... I think this could actually be good.... I know I know. Child actors x historical concepts that feel like it could be mismanaged... BUT. I just think, it could actually, be, good. There I said it.
The story sounds kinda dumb if its really just "oh im gonna duel this guy because he tapped that first" but the dueling expert sounds like the only silver lining from this movie
You and I broke God's law & Jesus paid the price. He who hears My (Jesus) word and believes in Him (God) who sent Me has everlastng life. John 5:24 Do you fear death? Jesus died for you, repent and believe!
This would have made more sense if it was more of a high noon, revolvers drawn type of duel you see in cowboy westerns, instead of the sword and pistol type.
A solid 7. For what it’s worth, the cast is great and it was entertaining, but some character actions were a bit farfetched. The trailer does spoil a twist. Plot line leaves a lot of questions waiting for answers and then BAM the movie ends. There were only 2 of us in the movie theater which I was bummed out as I did like it but as we finished, I’m glad it wasn’t packed, as there would have been a bit disappoint. Would recommend a stream. Watch it without considering logic to happen as any repercussions.
