The buff for increasing damage from Riposts on the Preparation skill adds up (50%, 100%, and so on). If you play through the Jester and his skill with the addition of an additional move, you can quickly do + 100% damage from Riposts.
@@Britishbrat Well, it turns out that this ability has a cooldown of 1 turn. So I use Meditation first, then Encore, then Preparation. She, standing in the second position, has a huge number of turns to absorb a lot of damage, and at the same time already has the first buff on Riposts. In the second and third turns, you'll just roll the Riposts. And then you just do another Preparation. It's a pretty hard-to-do scheme, but in general, when a fat enemy flies off from one riposte, it's fun)
I really like her Wanderer Disengage Combo with Highwayman's Point Blank Shot. You swap the two around while you always garantue enemies in the front row.
Actually no, if you pronounce it like that nobody will understand you, it's closer to "coo-deu-grass", the way he pronounced it would clearly stand out as wrong but would be understood, the way you are correcting would make things worse. Source : I'm french.
She's a fun character to play, and having her requires a bit of thought. Once you get her proper skill, she can dish out a lot of damage. With that said, i wonder if she synergizes well with other "dance" heroes, like GR and Jester.
In a game that is 90% rng (you need and can apply tactic and knowledge, but everything is still in percentages, items, skills, tokens, trinkets), you need to grasp on every single consistent thing that you can, i believe that is what will turn people down from her, as you said, with other character you click a thing and they do a thing (rng making the thing perform better or worse), but you need to jump through hoops far less while you hope the battle will end before you get crit back to back by an enemy with blind token and lose the run
What do you think is tue best way to play her? Her best role? I myself am leaning towards the riposte wanderer in static teams, and a hybrid with more move friendly teams, with hybrid i mean using both stances(prep-fleche-faint-meditation-disingage as an instructrice to switch stances and then prep or fleche following your needs, than repeat). While the riposte wanderer usually set up with prep-feint-med, than look for what you need, the other 2 abilities i use are coupe de grace amd flick, so she becomes the go to token remover. But i'm still not sure so i would love to hear your opinion on what you think is the absolute best way to play her, with which strategy she shines the most?
So if you have Jester and Instructrice Duelist, you can keep giving another character extra actions? You'll be able to stack up dots so fast, especially with the Plague Doctor.
Nice video but from France and with no anger coup de grâce is pronounced coo (like in cool) the(with french accent) grass ( coo the grass) wich means last blow
I dont know, man. Nothing one shots like the Baldwin's chop skill. I mean it crits for 60 +. Her ... seeing her puny 8 dmg hits and have to stack up dmg on her been missed and that is if she is targeted ... too much hustle for building one chop skill ... dont you think ?
My counter argument for this line of thinking is X is better than Y until you don't have X anymore. If you're not running leper then this argument doesn't really hold up. This girl can crit riposte for the mid twenties without much effort. Can stun. Can move enemies back and forth. Etc. Baldwin is waiting for someone to toss him a combo so you don't accidently wiff that huge smack down. They're both good, they don't really need to compete.
@@Britishbrat i understand that. What i was trying to say is that you dont need stun ( which she also needs someone to toss her a combo ) when you can just one shot ppl with say jester and Baldwin. And when you use Thick as a pet ... with the blood he eats bosses like there is no tomorrow. Maybe they need to nerf him a little bit, cuz anything else i am trying to play, although a bit more fun just doesnt come even close to the results he produces, and now with the new spiritualists he is even stronger
talk about an overdesigned character, tried her a bit and frankly she seems like a Graverobber/Highwayman with extra steps apart from rare niche scenarios where you can get a bit of extra from her
