The scam: An agent claiming to be from the IRS or "Tax Crime Investigation Department" will call and threaten you with jail or court charges for unpaid taxes. The scammer will attempt to get you to send money immediately through wire transfer or a prepaid card to clear the charges. Complete scam, the IRS does not operate this way, all these people are scammers.

Yeah. This really bothers me too. I found this channel because I was so sick and disgusted with getting between 5 and 10 scam calls a day and I wanted an outlet like this to express how I feel about it. For some reason I cannot call any of these numbers back, as when I attempt to, I get a message that they're not in service.

I got one of these calles back in 2008 and my wife at the time was all freaked out so I got on the phone and I started laughing at the guy and he kept telling me the police are about to show up and I told him ok, I'm waiting. The dude got so mad and cussed me out in hindi. And I am laughing my ass off! My wife was so scared. I had to get her to understand it was fake!

I know, huh. I was at my 93 year old mom's house when the IRS scammer called. I pretended I was an old racist who believed the caller and later his "supervisor" were original 9-11-2001 plotters. Unfortunately I lost them after five minutes. So disappointing when they stop playing. Sometimes you get rookie IRS/FBI/Citizenship Manager who can keep going. It's great improv practice.

I'm sure they did, the interviewer that hires them at several occasions had told me that I need to work on my english! And also they had told me that my education did not match with these guys. Basically they did not select me for any of these scamming jobs. Being a poor man's son I had to learn everything on my own and I never got a job in india. @@beachgirl4583 well there are ways to get numbers, theres the mistyping twitter do ttwitter, or any other well known site, fill in phone surveys or online surveys they sell the info to anyone. it takes a bit of time to get the numbers usually took me about 50-60 minutes to get a good number then but theres others like alogical on twitter who gets a lot of numbers.. i did several but i just talked..

(did 42 of my own scam baiting videos mostly tech support. but i became more ill and havent been able to do as much.. i once spoofed the washington dc embassy number for one call.. so they could have called the indian government LOL.. and a vpn yeah thats what some people dont get it can be exhausting getting the right number its work behind the scenes.. but its worth it to block their lines

Actually that's Jim Browning. He does more to stop scammers. Hoax just trolls them. Jim infiltrates the call centers and reports them to police.

Did you know that a group of Indian scammers was actually convicted of impersonation of a government agency in New Delhi the FBI worked with the Indian government and they are actually starting to crackdown on these call centres.

I got that call several years ago. I hung on so long because it was so entertaining. I was counting all the mistakes for a while, but about the point where he first mentioned my "passport," I decided the call was not entertaining enough to continue. I told him I had recorded call, traced his number, and the police were on their way to arrest him. He continued talking, but I hung up.
