It's still funny. I've had opponents try that with Ancient Gear Howitzer, and one of my fondest memories will always be my opponent trying to DPE me TWICE while I had Skill Drain active.
Someone destroyed all my monsters today in a duel with the spellcard ,,Black Hole" but wondered why my Blue Eyes Chaos MAX Dragon was the only one which stayed on my field, so this dumster throw out the same spell again. 😂😂😂
The amount of people that don’t read is insane. I’ve had people activate Harpie’s Feather Duster, or Lightning Storm to clear out my back row, while Blue Eyes Jet Dragon is on my field, or people activate Mirror Force while two Jet Dragons are on my field
Warnings like this always in the first line of cards. Litteraly every single card with this effect had this in the first line. If not, its in last line of the cards.

Saddest part is, he could have easily crashed into Final Sigma and then used Big Welcome to bring back his monster to finish of the other. Could have later used Big Welcome to remove other cards but wow, just kept targeting the one card that ignores effects.
Had the same happen with my exodia incarnate They did everything in their power to kill him and eventually set 3 cards and threw up swords of revealing light I was not only able to punch through it but he tried magic cylinder with the doubled effect and watched me destroy his extra deck card he summoned lol He pulled out Odd Eyes to try to lower his attack to 0 after failing to negate his effect and killed himself
That remember me when an eldlich deck used the effect of his fusion monster to take control of my monster, but my monster was the spirit message "i", when it is summoned like a monster by the effect of dark sanctuary is unaffected except Destiny board effect. In his next turn I summoned the "n" like a monster and he tried to take control of that too lol. Human or bot?
This game's rules fluctuate so much the guy probably thought there was a limit to the amount of times Sigma was unaffected for, or non-target/non-destruction nonsense would work. I've had people try the same thing on me with Ultimate Falcon in my pure Raidraptors. First line of text is: Unaffected by card effects. Yet people have tried to banish it, return it to hand, destroy it, negate its effects, the whole nine yards. People just think with enough attempts anything will go away.
I also had people try to Super Poly Ultimate Falcon. Or went to the Battle Phase without Evenly when it was "equipped" with Fog Blade^^ Or when I used Timelords, one opponent used Mirror Force, Dark Hole, Raigeki and stuff, not understanding it can't be destroyed.
Those labyrinth things are boring AF to play against. The players normally take ages to wrap what they want to do and constantly stop the flow of the game
