guy literally said “it cost me $100, which is way more than i should be spending on something as stupid as this”, like hundreds to thousands of dollars for sneakers is a sane purchase
There's a thing with salomon xt-6 sneakers, where the shoe is made for traction on grass and dirt and when you wear them in the city it grinds down the sole extremely fast. This can help save your shoe. it aint that stupid
i own a pair of burberry arthur sneakers, they come like this from factory, ive worn them almost every single day for more than half a year and they held up perfectly, very impressive for a designer shoe
I’ve been looking for something like this when I go out in the rain but want the comfort of shoes instead of rain boots. I find the swimm ones more meant for pointy dress shoes. Ugg have big round toe box so these should work but damn they’re expensive.
eh, personal preference. if you lived in Washington where it rains more often than not in certain seasons this might become a necessity. and at least they do look alright on some sneakers.
Overshoes have been a thing since I was a kid just invest in a good pair of waterproof boots or sneakers much more affordable than this they don't look bad there just overshoes or mudguards I feel old now
When an add on product that protects your sneakers on a rainy or muggy day yet disregard because of what other people would think of you wearing it. The logic baffles me 🤦🤷
this ain't no new trend, people who worked in the restaurant business brought these and they weren't uggs to put over there shoes because they were slick resistant and you still looked good instead of spending 80 bucks on cruise for shoes that you had to order through the job.
Nah we rocking full shoe covers not halves. Been doing it for a bit. Gotta get the clear ones or some other color to go with fit and shoe shape💯 . 20 on amazon silicone shoe cover with zippers
This isn't the dumbest trend. The dumbest trend is paying multiple times retail for a shoe. Hundreds of thousands of dollars for shoe that is with dollars
Some shoes are meant to be beat up and worn but I guess if ur spending upwards of 120+ on a pair I guess it makes sense to want them to stay pristine 😂
The amount of money spent on poorly made, non-utility shoes makes me embarrassed to be human. Stop spending fortunes to wear sweatshop billboards on your feet, spend the extra time it allows to craft an original thought.
I mean, if the intent was to keep your Jordans clean and dirt free, then yeah I can understand the trend. But if we're talking a straight up fashion statement....it's stupid.
Maybe some powered wheels so there's no more walking to crease them, or they could just set up habitat in the boxes where everything is safe. A legitimate tip though, learn to asian squat, it's good to stay flexible, maybe those AF1's are the motivation you need.
I'm kinda digging it. Both a means to protect your shoes but also aesthetically. The black guards on black shoes giving a urban dystopian punk kinda vibe I'm here for
@@shayslay3416 cuz depending on where you live they may not be practical to wear rain boots all day especially to work etc. plus have you ever worn rain boots for an entire day? your feet are a swamp!
@@CaptainCocktale ok. But why not just wear a beater pair when it's wet and muddy? Like a black leather shoe that you dont care much about and is cheap. It'll go with everything, hide dirt, and is easy to clean. Get some black forces if you like Nikes. My main point was that it's stupid to not be prepared for the day yet be worried for your shoes.
