+WriterusAeternus No, this clip's editor did. I say this assuming they (the Duplass bros) talked about it at some point in the interview, which they probably didn't.
Jacob Russell I can't tell if you are kidding. Of course the Duplass bros know what mumblecore is. They're huge proponents of the movement. So if the uploader was joking, I didn't get the joke.
According to Wikipedia, *Mumblecore* is "a subgenre of independent film characterized by low budget production values and amateur actors, heavily focused on naturalistic dialogue."
I immediately pictured Henry Rollins lying on a stage, mumbling about Reagan era america while Black Flag or the Rollins band is playing at full force behind him mumblecore movies are cool just an fyi
love the duplass brothers, cyrus is a must see, and other films I've seen of them while I may not watch it twice, I love indie films and people who dare to break convention, now togetherness! I highly recommend it, so underrated and the cast is fucking brilliant.
When they started talking about his brothers and dying I remembered that Stephens two teen brothers and dad died in a plane crash and my body shut down
I love these guys, but maybe don't joke about brothers and dying with Colbert. You can see it flick through Stephen's eyes for a split-second as he thinks about mentioning his own brothers.
