It sounds like your weekend went really well and that you enjoyed your trip to the Netherlands! Nice haul - I believe we have a similar aesthetic taste - I also prefer the understatement (Schlichtheit). I‘m not into branding on objects or clothes. Thanks for sharing some of your trip with us!
Thank you! Yes I really had an amazing trip. I just like when the object speaks for itself. Instead of objects beeing hyped because there is a certain brand name on it. I also prefer cloth without big logos.
It was lovely to meet you! I hope we see each other next year . I'm using the ball points for the calendar so it was very handy to get them in the goodie bag.
Omg you’re the girl I met during the show! I asked you about the nibs you had ground by Anabelle, and later on you waved me goodbye at the bus station. Even though it was brief, I really enjoyed talking with you. Perhaps we’ll meet again sometime, but for now I’ll just subscribe :) The Dutch Pen Show was my very first pen show and I had a blast. I also got the goodie bag and I was shocked to find the Retro 51 Brussels LE inside. That pen retails for 70 euros! I’m relatively new to the fountain pen hobby (about 1,5 years in), and I learned and experienced so much during the show. I’m thoroughly penabled hahah
Haha yes I am 😂. Omg that‘s so funny that you recognize me through that video. I was also enjoying it to talk to you. I‘m already planning to go there next year as well. So if you also plan to, just text me in advance.
Your camera work walking the floor is so much better than mine! Are you saying you now have two matte black VP? Great video and I'll be here for the next one too!
Oh wow, this pen show looks so big with sooo many people! You mentioned Nürnberg and München being smaller, are these real pen shows or more Schreibwaren-Messe?
The Penshows in Nürnberg are real Penshows, in a way that they are organized the same way. But because they are so small e.g. they didn‘t charge entry fee and there were no nibmeisters. But it‘s the same in terms of tables and vendors. There are more private vendors with their collection and a big big percentage on vintage/ pre-used pens.
