Moral of the story - respect your centers, people. You never realize just how important the good ones are until they're gone.
On a related note...I miss you, Chris Myers :(
Also, THANK YOU to everyone who has been following and supporting the Patreon for the past two years over at bit.ly/TheFilmRoom. It is because of you guys that I was finally able to close on my first house this week, which is something that I never, ever thought I would get to do. I can actually build out a REAL office and recording space now, improve my work flow, and make more content than ever before.
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for all that you have done for me. I will never be able to fully repay your support, but you can be damn sure that I'm going to try!

He’s undersized for a center, which one one his biggest knocks coming out of college, but he’s so technically dominant, that he makes up for a lack of size and power that way. Then, he uses his natural speed and athleticism to block into the second level and carry out long plays.

After his retirement. I'll say he's the goat. There's only a couple that can even be mentioned in the same breath in the past few decades. Guys like Chuck Bednarik, center and linebacker, hof at both, Mike Webster, Jeff Saturday. But looking at intangibles, I put him above anyone in the reviewable film era.
