The EARL ROARS up Shap with the Shap Mountaineer. Video includes Legends of Steam at the East Lancs. 

Today was all about capturing the big names in the steam world and features two railtours at Shap and the Legends of Steam Gala at the East Lancs Railway. We start with the Shap Mountaineer hauled by Castle Class No. 5043 'Earl of Mount Edgcumbe' seen approaching Shap Summit and within 15 minutes we see Bulleid No. 34067 'Tangmere'. We then move to the East Lancs Railway to see three steam locomotives appearing the Legends of Steam Gala.These were Jubilee Class No. 45690 'Leander', A4 Class No. 60007 ' Sir Nigel Gresley' and Brit No. 70000 'Britannia'. The video also features the returning Shap Mountaineer and an aerial shot at Shap.
Finally it was good to meet up with fellow RU-vidrs, namely Nige (Nige757), Steve Thompson, Steve Brass and Liam & Phil Marsh.
