I was sprinkled at birth raised Roman Catholic. Was immersed in water at. a Church of Christ in the trinitarian doctrine in 1980, attended a Nazarene church until 1986 and because the service checkout at eight on the dot I started attending a apostolic Pentecostal church directly after service and I got re-baptised in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins finally! It caused a major division in my family period the Nazarene music pastor left also would be so dead by best friend period they brought in a Walter aMarttin çult specialist. It Was bad however it is almost 2019 AND the three of us are still living strong in this precious apostolic doctrine today! Hallelujah!
I am really blessed to have been baptized in the name of JESUS the Christ! There is only ONE church today in Ethiopia that teaches ONE GOD and baptism in the supreme saving name of God-JESUS! May God bless your ministry brother David Bernand! Your teachings have restored me to the original apostolic doctrines!
I found a bible with 'essential doctrines of the bible. Written by world aflame press. Author David Bernard I am oneness apostolic since 1973 Until that time I was a Baptist I was 20 years old. I saw acts 2.38 and it changed my life I discovered the trinity was created in 200 a.d. Later the Catholics claimed it That is why I left the Baptist because trinity is not bible Brother Bernard taught the oneness of God in Jesus so well Even I was improved in my own knowledge I needed that I am glad I found the right way
In the spring of 2015 I cried out to God and Jesus and for two weeks I kept my thought on Jesus and on a Saturday morning as I woke up I heard a voice and it said name and then I froze still and I heard a beautiful voice and it said Christ the Lord and in that voice was peace and love and I started to speak and something came over me who am I to speak with God I wanted to but I couldn't . I was called by his name.im no better than anyone God shows no favoritism.i was baptized in the father son holy Spirit but after I heard God's voice I was baptized in Jesus name . I Believe Jesus is God in the flesh and he is the only one that can save and I believe he sets at the right hand of his father Jesus told his followers that he is in the father and father in him I believe God knows us better than we know us and he knows the thought he has for us but Jesus Christ the Lord is the name above all name's he is the living word of God there is no other name that we must be saved he is the alpha and Omega beginning and end
Greetings From Detroit Michigan! Thank God For Jesus and Every True Apostolic Preacher ! I've been Bless for Years by Brother Davids Ministry! Growing in Grace and The Knowledge of Jesus Christ!
Thank you for your comments. God put this on my heart. Psalm 133 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments; As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the Lord commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.
Amen. Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
I am part of this history, glory to God, I thank God for sending here to Brazil Rev. Bennie L. Demechart, in which he began a great missionary work in the Amazon and throughout the Northern Region of Brazil, today the United Pentecostal Church of Brazil thanks the American brothers for thinking of us in Brazil! May the Peace of Jesus be with all.
Amen. So true. And today, we need to have sisters and brothers to spread the Gospel in Brazil. I wish that I spoke Portuguese as well as Spanish, to help minister there. As Satan has tried to erase the memory of God's goodness there and in many places. Thank you so much for testifying, may God bless you and all of Brazil greatly is my prayer.
This is most interesting. I'm GLAD I was baptized in Jesus' name in 1996 after I had been a trinitarian for almost 12 years. Trinitarianism is a deception.
Charles Parham wrote the book, "The Voice Crying in the Wilderness, a great book. You can read it for free on Scribd, should you desire. He did well until he compromised by agreeing after he wrote a book on the importance of Jesus name baptism to then tell trinitarians that their titled formula was just fine as well, then it began to go downhill for him personally and spiritually. If you like history, perhaps you'd like my newest video that deals how the Sinner's Prayer became the new salvation formula. Here's a link. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-AYPpzETnRPU.html Here's one based on a Azusa stree prophecy. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-l3jr5KC1SCA.html Both are short but sweet. God bless you, and thank you for commenting.
2 Corinthians 4:3-5 But if our gospel be hid,it is hid to them that is lost. 4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of GOD, should shine upon them. 5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.
The Faith Once Delivered Plus I have done much research over the years. Followed Elder Marvin Arnold's writing. Book, 'History of the Christian Church' I believe it was; Years ago. Read Brother Bernards book on Church history, focusing on Church beginning to 100 - 200. There's just not enough adequate resources for a layman to find for a greater understanding. I have read about Anabaptised, Montanise, Monarchians, etc. There still isn't a lot of research on the early oneness history. I realize much has been suppressed by Catholicism. But I continue to look.
Amen I fully accept what Bernard says here. The truth of Oneness and Acts 2:38 was the restoration of the truth of who Jesus is and full salvation. Its just a shame since then the other foundation truths like post trib rapture, resurrection rather than immortal soul, and eternal judgment as the destruction of the wicked. A very few Oneness teachers are going deeper but most have stuck by tradition.
Amen Bro on ur Post Trib comment Blessed and Holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection Rev 20:6 After the Tribulation Matt 24:29-31 wish our superintendant and other great men of God would get understanding on this and teach it
I enjoy all of Dr Bernard teaching and debating of Oneness, because I'm apostolic myself. I found it very interesting to hear that Bishop Mason was "antidotel / privately" baptized in Jesus name at location: 23:33 - 23:52 Please share where this can be found and/or validated. Many Thanks -
I would suggest talking to David Bernard himself at New Life Church in Austin whether by email, phone or in person as those are his notes. God bless you.
albert durden This sounds so fresh though i know the Apostolic truth am enjoying listening to all these sermons.ty so much Rev David Bernard.God richly bless you
He did this some years ago, and I doubt if he would be will to recreate it presenyly, as he's now the superintendent of the UPCI. But we can read in history what happened at the arroyo seco. Thank you for watching Rykel.
I wonder what the lost think when they hear all the debating on this? I was healed born again and baptized in the so called Trinity baptism.. You do realize the people in the book of Acts we're being baptized in John's baptism and other baptisms .. I have no debate that it's ok to be baptized in Jesus name but this whole debate thing is nonsense
Both Apostles, Paul and Peter baptized believers in the name of Jesus. Peter was commanded by Jesus to baptize all believers in Mark 16:16. "He that believes and is baptized shall be saved...' So he preached to Jews of every nation, and they wanted to be saved, asking how to become so. " And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." Acts 2:38 Paul preached to and then baptized former disciples of John the baptiser. "On hearing this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus." Acts 19:5 Paul also baptized the corinthians, see Acts 18:8, in the name of Jesus Christ. "I appeal to you, brothers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and the same judgment. 11 For it has been reported to me by Chloe's people that there is quarreling among you, my brothers. 12 What I mean is that each one of you says, “I follow Paul,” or “I follow Apollos,” or “I follow Cephas,” or “I follow Christ.” 13 Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you baptized in the name of Paul? 14 I thank God that I baptized none of you except Crispus and Gaius, 15 so that no one may say that you were baptized in my name. 16 (I did baptize also the household of Stephanas. Beyond that, I do not know whether I baptized anyone else.) 1 Corinthians 1:10-16. In fact, Paul was baptized in the name of Jesus. "And now why do you wait? Rise and be baptized and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord Jesus." Both believed in the one Lord Jesus, one faith in Him, and one baptism in His name. (Ephesians 4:5) Now, my question that I have you is this. Have you followed the basic requirement of repenting of your sins, and by belief being baptized in the name of Jesus, for the forgiveness of your sins?
The Faith Once Delivered To The Saints i have been attending a Pentecostal church for 7 years and got baptized too but i recently saw this video by Robert Breaker that says that the baptism of water was for the jews only and that we gentiles plan of salvation is the one that Paul preached about in 1st Corinthians 15:1-4.. so now im very confused.. this is the video... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GNotueAIYyU.html
I believe you but remember that confusion is not of God. We all need water baptism in the name of Jesus, for the forgiveness of our sins, if we believe God. Cornelius was commanded to be water baptized in the name of Jesus by Peter in Acts 10:47-48. "Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we? And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days." Now he representative of all of the gentiles. Now, Paul baptized Lydia (Gentile), the jailer (Acts 16:33) and many others in the name of Jesus for the forgiveness of sins. I don't care what anyone says, I'm not moving from the simplicity of the gospel. And this person whom you heard say that gentiles don't need baptism in the jesus, he's lying, and God will judge him. Consider what Paul said. elGal. 1:6-12 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
The Faith Once Delivered To The Saints yes i was baptized in the name of Jesus, i have been praying and listening to Derek Prince and im not confused anymore, we just have to be faithful to Jesus, everything else is secondary. I will keep praying. Thank you.
There is but one Lord, one faith, and one baptism. Natural water has nothing to do with it. Water was John's baptism.... Man does not baptize. The Lord is from God, the Faith is from God and the Baptism is from God
