A SpaceX Falcon 9 successfully launched an Earth science mission for Europe and Japan May 28 2024 from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California at 6:20 p.m. Eastern. The SpaceX Falcon 9 first stage booster returned successfully to Earth.
The Earth Cloud Aerosol and Radiation Explorer ('EarthCARE') space craft, separated from the upper stage about 10 minutes after lift off. It has already spread its solar wing, is generating power and 'Hartebeesthoek' ground station in South Africa has received the satellite’s first signals from space. Telemetry is arriving clearly at ESA mission control in Germany.

EarthCARE will use four instruments to measure clouds, aerosols and radiation to improve climate and weather modeling. The cloud profiling radar was provided by the Japanese space agency JAXA. JAXA dubbed the spacecraft “Hakuryu” or “White Dragon” because of the spacecraft’s appearance. The solar panels of the probe were made by Airbus Netherlands from Leiden. EarthCARE will monitor climate change from space in the coming years. Clouds and dust particles have an effect on temperatures. The Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute (KNMI) is also involved in the research.

In an earlier video we reflected on setting the goal to reach the moon, in the May 25th 1961 speech by President John Fitzgerald Kennedy (JFK).
On May 25, 1961, President John F. Kennedy announced the moon goal with the words: "I believe that this nation should commit itself to achieving the goal, before this decade is out, of landing a man on the Moon and returning him safely to the Earth."
On February 15, 2001, the commercial American television station Fox News Channel aired a documentary about conspiracy theories that the moon landings were staged. Scientists, engineers, and space experts dismiss these conspiracy theories as baseless. There is an abundance of physical evidence to the contrary, such as later images of the clearly recognizable landing sites with the traces and parts/equipment left behind on the moon.

The country of 'We the People' is a country where no one is simply above the Law because it is a real democracy. It has its Constitution (after a revolution that was fought before that) for a reason. Its a fundamental reaction to the very concept of absolute rule and immunity. Absolute immunity existed and ruled before that: it was called Kings (or autocrats, authoritarians and despots). That's the essence of what the creation of The United States of America was a reaction against. So America created a government by the People, from the People, for the People. And so it is called 'The People against...' in the legal system for a reason. (The Constitution and The Oath of Office exist for a just reason and the People deserve the answer in a balance system of separation of powers and respect for the rights of citizens.)
The Presidential Oath of Office is found in Article II of the United States Constitution:
"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."
Every American President beginning with George Washington has sworn this Oath.
