I'm a elite veteran hardcore player and can bench press a dinosaur. You can't play 1 bar builds. That is illegal. Do you think we play this game for fun? Dps is the only thing that matters. Dps is the foundation of human society. The roman empire existed for 2000 years because they had the highest dps until an update changed the meta. We as a spezies evolved to raise our dps. We industrialized to raise our dps. We developed the nuklear bomb to min-max our dps. We can't limit ourselfs to one bar. I bench pressed Todd Howard once and he told me that you can't play one bar builds even though they are in the game and completely fine for like 95% of the content in a 10 year old game with a stagnating endgame community and a dwindling player base. TL;DR DPS
1 bar 3 HA sorcs ,1 tank VBRP NO DEATH for UNCHAINED one of the hardest 4 man in the game and HM trails ,get over yourself and play how u wont to , if u can hit over 100k or even 95k u can run anything in this game and if they dont wont u in there little group thats there loss.
102.3K Sgt Highland Oaken 64Stam Thief, BTrap BArm DPrey 2pets Precise console. Rele in place of Highland is close, single target, but gives mobility. Craftable Orders Wrath with SgtMail is great overall, does good damage and is mobile. 2bar is only faster with experienced players having a good rotation while doing mechs, and staying alive. Otherwise, the 1bar Sorc is good for most content. Uptime is arguably way easier, plus more survivable. 1bar Sorc is great to use in content while learning 2bar rotation and timing on the dummy building up one's skill over time. A beginner 1bar is going to be doing way better than a 2bar beginner. Plus, 1bar Sorc is going to be much faster for a beginner to build their CP to 14-1500 for max damage. But yes, be practicing and learning 2bar rotations. FYI: in groups, at least 1 Sorc needs to run Crystal Frags or morph to provide the group 6 percent critical chance. I've hit 131k with my 2bar, but only use it in certain hardmode trials.
@@iamcosmicdude great notes here! As I mentioned in the video, I’ve seen a few builds for the HA sorc do better, but I emphasized making the build as easy as possible, and three buttons for a 5k loss felt worthwhile :)

@eigh1puppies I would love to see these referred to as accessibility builds as opposed to beginner builds. (I use this sort of build to DPS, and I have been playing the game for 10 years) There are people with physical limitations that are afforded the ability to do content they never could do before, thanks to builds like these. A lot of those players are older with less dexterity, or may suffer medical conditions that prevent efficient bar swapping and weaving. These builds offer an accessibility option never seen before in the game that has been much needed for a long time.
@@adhafang9882Just because I like the 1-bar sorc doesn't mean it's my only toon. I also run zen's DK (non 1 bar) I have 2 different styles of tanks (DK Switchblade & Templar Tormentor), one for more sweaty content and one for LuLz 4 man content and Infinite Archive, I also run a stock standard Deadly Stam Arcanist, and I used to EleCat a Necromancer (back when that was still a thing)... none of those builds are 1-bar. The only point is, the build provides accessibility not only to potential beginners, but all brands of gamers who I've met through the years, so it's not just a "beginner build". I'm what sweaties call a super casual. Me and my 47 Star-Studded Champ Badrics, 31 Serpents Teeth, 42 Periphts of Elinhir, 12 Rid-Thar's Moon Pearls, a few Divarcated Tone Forks. Then there's the odd Crest of the Welkynar, Defiled Oathstone, Pristine Dragon Heartscale, and Radiance Resonator. I've put my time in doing content. And after 10 years of dummy humping and progging, I can still really appreciates a good 1-bar build.

My magden build pre update 43 (haven’t played since then so don’t know now) did 120k, static rotation, could block cast every skill, had inner light slotted on both bars, and didn’t use the ultimate. I’d say that was easiest / most versatile damage dealer in the game. If you got sweaty ;) and used the ultimate you’d do another 7k dps.
Sad truth is that the endgame population has been really low ever since U35. It’s taken the last 8 patches to get us to where we are now, and the only way endgame will keep growing is if the endgame community commits to teaching and helping to build up the newer players. If you’re an endgame player, you already know the limitations of HA builds, and you know where they will and will not perform well. We have 100% beat this topic to death. Continuing to argue about it doesn’t help grow endgame. I think, if you are endgame and care about its continued existence, that we should do our best help make endgame accessible. There’s a percentage of players who will play the HA builds and never get off of them. And then there’s a smaller percentage of players who will start there, and then progress upwards. We will have to help them all to get that small percentage of players. That’s just how it is. That’s why endgame players are only like 2% of the entire population anyway.
That is how it SHOULD BE. This is what MAKES COMMUNITY valuable in these games. It's 100% for some people's endgame progression to END with HA builds and it's also perfectly okay for it to BEGIN with ha builds... hell, it's okay if the SKIP HA builds... it is ALL OKAY... that's the beautiful part of making the content accessible with these kinds of builds. It's not just a training wheels thing.
I use something strange, but really better : Sergeant, of course, but with "mortal strike" . (for solo players) : shock stick with shock enchantement , cps : "savage aggression; deadly aim; expert; exploiter . with : crystal weapons; bound egide ; elemental suceptibility ,; storm wall (10s) ; hard protection . (no pets) . Ultimate : "elemental rage" or atro . Sorry for my translation, i'm french . Try it, U can use the wall as a spam in packs .(u can use the iron points instead of elemental sucepibility (the one's with armor broke) . i don't know if it works on iron atronach,(u'll never have all those buffs in solo ) but i know that it make the job on wbosses, archives, and every dangerous places ..I use to try my solo builds on stone atro, (no buffs ) , and i made 42k dps . only 38 with 8one's build ..
Well done my friend. Forget the haters. I'm happy you're showing beginner builds and helping grow endgame. This will help newer players, disabled players, and casual players in learning.
@gregorygray2665 have you seen his other guides, trust me he's helping... bro has over 130k builds out there... but players just getting into vet content, can learn something from him.
Can i replace Highland with mother's sorrow? There's no condition for the 5 piece crit bonus for it like standing still. I say this because i already have a few gold pieces of mother's already sitting in my bank 😅
@@eigh1puppies That can be ordered. The build with Highland and mother's and Valkyn one piece is doing well so far. One thing I tried is to slot Elemental Susceptibility and just backbar Bound Aegis for the minor resolve and max mag boost. Your thoughts?
Most solo players should use Deadly Strike or Noble Duelist over Highland Sentinel. Yeah you lose out on some damage but when you’re solo you can’t really afford to stand still at all, and it’s very boring to just stand in place holding heavy attacks the whole time.
@@eigh1puppies Orders wrath is great too. And yes it’s possible no doubt about it, just a bit more difficult and a lot less fun to play in my opinion but to each their own. It’s a solid build anyway.
Oouuff toxic people. I love both 1b 2b. 1b is great option and ofc it will never be higher dmg then 2b. My 1b is a stam build with Hurricane and Bound Armaments Daedric prey 2 pets Charged Atro. Glyphs and Attributes all stam. Lightning staff Charged. Sergeants mail + Relequen real fight and Highland sentinal on dummy. On dummy i get 102k with sergeants mail + Highland. 99k sergeants mail + Relequen. If i turn it into a dual wield 1b i get 107k with both set ups. 1b is really good for those who wants to chill or have some disabilities or if you just wanna play for fun. My 2b is 126k with only 1 skill i use, Stampede. You play how you want too ✌️
Wouldn't you want dark elf and 64 points into stamina? You're running medium armor. The medium armor skill line gives you a percent more stamina based on how many armor pieces you have. So you would get more stamina, so that would help your weapon and spell damage scale higher. Wouldn't you want to use skills from the fighters guild to use their passives and get their 3% bonus to weapon and spell damage?
Medium armor doesn’t increase max Stam, it helps with some Stam related stats though (like recovery for example) 7 and 8% max mag increases with inner light and bound armaments for mag characters will be slightly stronger than fighters guild abilities!
I’m kinda new to eso been playing for 5 months at champ 813 trying to get big numbers like this to be able try my luck in trials. What’s a decent way to get my dmg up because on a 321k dummy I do 22k dps which takes 16 seconds a 21 mil dummy would take me forever.
The number you're seeing is because of the dummy you're parsing on. The 21 Mil gives all of the raid buffs you should most typically be receiving, so it'll go up a ton if you use it!
Deadly is good, but highland is a bit better on the dummy, and orders wrath is a bit better in content. Not sure of the exact values but the difference should be pretty small!
Aegis Caller is not buffed by Pray. It is not counted as a pet by Zos. Also "getting Major Resolve in groups" doesn't matter on Oakensoul users, since they already get that buff from it. And the armor cap is not 32k. That said. Great video. xD
Was a sub on a one bar team poly farming in vAS2. How I got my IR. Fast times before the first nerf. Same team did vSE day of & those were easy runs. Others have said it in here about the cry babies. Had a friend with arthritis bad in both hands. He had two wishes; hit at least 85k & be on a core team. This build helped him do both before he passed away. So keep crying about builds like this. When the player base dries up, you will only have yourselves to blame.
If you have any criticism, go make your damn video and quit talking shit about anybody else's. He's found a setup that might work for him. That's why we play with builds and different setups to find what works best for ourselves.
Fact is ESO is designed to cater to ALL skill levels. This means alternate ( easy) builds arent going to get you end game level achievements. End game trifectas are designed to cater to the highest skill/ build levels. There is a hell of a lot of practice and experience put into these builds and content. Its not for low level skill or builds. That all being said enjoy YOUR level of play comfortably.
Sadly, I feel that using a HA build as a “beginner” build disincentivizes (what I admittedly assume to be) most of the player base from applying diligent effort into maximizing DPS on a LA build. Why are they gonna shift from a HA build to a LA build when it’s an immediate drop in DPS, ease of use, and survivability?
@@txchainsaw8907 we aren’t looking for 100% conversions, we’re trying to offer players a way to get into endgame content where they might otherwise not have bothered and hoping that any % of them catch the endgame bug

I saw in one of your comments that you're sharing this build because you aim to increase the endgame player population. That being said, you show footage of yourself standing still in red AoEs because you chose a specific set (Highland Sentinel) for parsing. I don't know what you're trying to teach people, but we definitely don't want that in endgame. There, raid awareness and survivability matter just as much as high damage. My apologies if this came off as a personal attack, because I do enjoy the rest of your content, but this is just wrong. Don't go down this rabbit hole.
@@fobtasz4693 there’s a good amount of progression involved in knowing what you can and can’t stand in, even with this build. You can’t take everything. I’d argue that endgame puts far too much of an emphasis currently on mechanics, and not enough emphasis on knowing what you can and can’t get away with. For example, in the new trial, doing good damage on ryelaz as an arc sometimes involves purposefully getting stunned by meteors for the cc immunity to continue beaming. It’s context and perception.
Raid awareness is about more than just knowing to get out of red... it's knowing WHICH RED matters and which doesn't from experience in the setting, and survivability mostly comes down to being raid aware enough to stand in FRONT of your healers, not behind them, and moving out of stack or into stack when it is needed. The colors you see can often be a RED HERRING. (pun intended)
@@LoneWolfUsul You learn this in Trial Content regardless of your build. As another note, Highland Sentinel takes the same type of practice and min maxing when you want to use it with 2 bar builds in content, where it is meta in 60% of trial content as well. @@mattes505 you’re putting value in an arbitrary number. 150k is possible on this class, which means heavy sorc is worth about 66% of the damage a 2 bar build can do
HA (Heavy Attack) builds are undoubtedly the most fun and accessible builds for new players in ESO. They allow players to learn and master all the game's mechanics at their own pace. Once new players understand these mechanics, they can do any in-game content and fully enjoy the experience ESO has to offer. For new players and those looking to play long-term, there’s no better choice than a HA builds. However, there's a downside. Unfortunately, many veteran(shit) players tend to discourage or block new players simply because they use HA builds. It’s truly sad! I've seen numerous players using HA builds who can complete content easily and cleanly, yet the community's negativity towards these builds is overwhelming, and it seems like ZoS isn't doing anything about it. If you choose to use a HA build, be prepared: some players will HATE you, block you, and even prevent you from joining groups. To make matters worse, even ZoS restricts HA build users from certain content, like Cloudrest. Even ZoS doesn’t want players to learn the game using HA builds. If you teabag someone in the game, you risk getting banned by ZoS. However, if a player bulling you by calling you names like "brain-dead" and actively blocks your progress in the game just because you use HA build, it seems to be perfectly acceptable and ZoS doesn't have any issues with it. All of this HATE is because DPS Sharing API. The solution is simple: remove DPS Sharing from the game, get rid of the logs, and players will have a much more enjoyable experience. Until then, while HA builds remain a great choice for many, be aware that using them will attract hate from others. I would bet easy that even Eight1 Puppies don't allow HA players in most of their 12-player HM content. Not because HA players die more often, because that simply isn't true. And not because their DPS is always lower, since that isn't always the case. They will block you in Hard Mode (HM) simply because you're playing with a HA build. How sad is this? And yet, he makes videos about HA builds! xD
@@Baekgoe this comment was almost good. Heavy attack dps is always lower than competent 2 bar builds though. As discussed a bit in the video And when you are trying to complete the most difficult content in the game, the expectation is top tier damage AND don’t die, all in one.

However, if a player is using 2 bars and learning their rotation, HA will be better and stronger, making it a better choice. The truth is that HA builds can handle any in-game content, including almost all hard modes. For trifectas, HA builds should not be the reason for failing to complete them.
