Hello! A few folks have asked if you can do this without the die set. As I mentioned in the video, you can! you can cut your own similar piece. I just find the dies easy, exact and something I can use as a tool again and again. I also mention that I linked to a play list of doing other types of pop up cards without needed a die. Remember - for newbies, having dies to do specialty effects is helpful. Even for some "oldie" stampers like me! :)
I've made them manually. not difficult. But having a die would be fast, cut ahead and be ready, less prep time. Great option to be able to have the dies
Dear Jennifer Good morning. The card is beautiful. Pls can you give the measurements of the straps u used as I cannot purchase them as shipping is very expensive as I am in Sri Lanka. Love and hugs❤
You are awesome I tried it with eyeballing card and it worked thank you soooooo much no need to buy the dies I’m so excited to try this thank you very much for your excellent tutorials xxxx
These are fantastic. I can only imagine the look on someone’s face when they open one of these. I will definitely be giving this a try, because I think it will really make someone smile.
Wonderful cards, I can't resist to buy houses and building dies. I placed my order and bought more than I thought, now waiting for my items. So excited. Thanks Jennifer!!
As always, this was so helpful... except that I was so distracted by your gorgeous nails! I always love your nails, but since purple is my favorite color I am dying to know what polishes these are... if you don't mind sharing! Thanks!
Jennifer, this is a fantastic die set! I love interactive cards. So fun for the recipient. Your cards are fantastic! Thank you for showing a variety of ways to use this set with other stamps. You're my "go to gal" for creative new ideas! Never stop encouraging creativity in us!
This idea is adorable…thanks to you I think I have next years card idea sorted…..wish me luck as I won’t be buying the die but doing it myself I’m so excited to try this thank you.
Hello! I love this set and have the diecuts and stamps. I made candles and had trouble with the flames getting tangled when the card opened? Anyone else have this issue or an idea on how to avoid it? I used the large pop up base with 5 candles on each side. It appears to work until I opened it.. Thanks!
Jennifer, you just the best instructor! You directions are clear and you show exactly how a technique is created. I never tire of watching your videos! You don’t talk over us, but let us know when you’ve made a mistake or changed your mind. Thanks so much for sharing your craftiness!
Jennifer, thank you so much for all your videos. They always inspire me to try something new! Could you tell me what black glitter card stock you used for the “amazing” die cut?
Hmmm... not sure. But I love the Memory Box glitter paper www.simonsaysstamp.com/product/memory-box-majestic-hues-glitter-6x6-paper-pack-gp1008-gp1008m21?currency=USD
Absolutely adorable 🥰 Cards Jennifer. I love ❤️ making pop up cards too. My hubby is always getting me a card for my birthday or for Christmas that can be challenging to try and figure out how it was made.
Jennifer, do have anyway of making or have made cards that has openings with pictures under them I know this will be hard to understand, if I put little doors about three in a row, maybe three row, where a child can open the doors with a picture under the door, I’ve seen them in cards you can purchase in stores, you are so intelligent with your cards I figured you would have the idea thanks for your time, I have to watch this over again
If you have multiple pop up bases, without attachments, couldn’t you work from the bottom up so you could use the easy closed card attachment for all 3? Or am I missing something?
You are so amazing with all your ideas. Thank you so much for sharing. My problem is that every time I watch, I want everything you show. I love these cars so much!!!
These cards are absolutely amazing. Using multiple sentiments together is a great idea. The pop up cards are ingenious. Thank you for this wonderful video. ❤️

These cards are awesome! I love the "brilliant" pop-up feature cards. The color combo's you used are great. And I also love the bonus card. There are so many details.
These cards are adorable. I like the city scene best but I could use this for so many different cards. Thank you so much for showing this technique. :)
I think the dies make this very easy but if you live somewhere where it’s difficult or very expensive to buy the dies it’s good to know you could cut the little strips by hand. 🥰
I just used the dies, but in other videos i share other ways to do this without dies. i like to that at the end of the video! As for the candles - I made them full size. Except the front row of candles i cut a bit shorter so you could see the back row. :)
