Hello friends! I wanted to share this tutorial with you for how to make a mini macrame wall hanging! This is a very beginner friendly project, even if you have never done macrame before you can make this!
The 6 inch stick/dowel I used from Amazon:
amzn.to/3cuZF32
The macrame cord I used in this video:

Project Details:
- 3 or 4 mm single strand macrame cord
- One 6 inch stick or wooden dowel
Main section:
- Cut 10 cords, 3 ft long each
Hanging Cord:
- Cut 1 cord, 1 1/2 - 2 ft long

could we do it with 2mm or 6mm cord instead will it look ok still

Sendi Vasquez I’m sorry I just saw this comment - 2 mm cord should work fine, you might end up with excess cord lengths though, for 6 mm cord you’ll need to add a lot more length, and possibly use a larger stick - it might take some experimentation but it will definitely work :)

I was so very much attracted to this miniature wall hanging... I am 63 yers old woman from India and is a vivid dress maker and embroiderer and have been doing the same for 40 years now... I do seed bead jewelry also. This Macrame craft attracted me very much and was going through all the videos for more than a month. Procured all the items needed from Amazon and did two feathers... But wanted do some real work. I bumped into your channel and I am glad I did. This miniature wall hanging was so cute so I made this today and for a beginner it came out well. Instead of the two finishings rows, I made three .. Thank you so much for your wonderful tutorial... Your way of doing it was very easy to follow... And your smile is so Beautiful ❤️.l don't know how to show you what I did.. 🤔

Loved the video, excellent tutoring. Can I ask a question please , why are the strings/rope measured out so long when your going to cut off so much. I’m sure there’s a reason, but as a beginner I don’t understand.

Yeah that really annoyed me too! I know it’s probably done just to be 100% sure you have enough for the entire project (because it would definitely suck to be nearly at the end and there not being enough string/rope to finish the design…) But seeing SO much get cut off and wasted, is frustrating. (However, my assumption that she is *“wasting it”* might be totally incorrect… Perhaps she has other projects that she uses the waste materials on.🤷‍♀️ At least that’s what I’m going to tell myself. Lol)

Iam doing a project with macrame & denim.. This vedio help me a lot to weave bz iam a beginner.... I just added this macrame weave with the halter neck denim top.. And that was amazing😍also added some traditional mirror works for embellishments... Lub u for making this vedio💖💝
