Love seeing KISS applied on AI work. We need this for agents, there are still too many install issues with some amazing tools like ChatDev (like a farm of developers you set on building apps).
This works well but as usual anything under 16gb of VRAM will suffer the cost of waiting time. Hopefully in the future updates, they'll work on a solution for low spec machine owners like myself who dwell in the space lower than 8GB vram. It does work but at the cost of not being able to do anything else while its conjuring pixels out of the latent space, as well as the high waiting time that comes as a result of having a low vram machine. You've also earned a new subscriber because of the magic words "A.I. Film Company".
I’m usually on an RTX 2070 S with 8GB vram, and can use After Effects/Blender while generating. I can’t fine-tune on this card, but most other uses are fine. What are you using? Regarding AI Film Company - check out my last video where I talk more about it :)
@@albertbozesan it is true, but 1024 generation takes 5 minutes and does not always work, so I think I stick with unoptimal resolution, but I would say it still works
@@sherpya it works, but I strongly recommend using 1.5 for those resolutions. The results will be better and faster than forcing SDXL into suboptimal results.
hi there - very cool video. i was just wondering what style / checkpoint you used for the picture shown at 3:38 - really diggin that style. keep up the good content :) cheers Simon
This looks like a very nice tool for beginners to kick the tires on AI images without the 'hassle' of using Discord and other online / paid tools. Or the relative complexity of A1111 / ComfyUI, etc. With SDXL especially, this should allow for some nice creativity from a broader community.
I don’t think it will, because it’s specifically mimicking the features of Midjourney and should stay simple. If you want those features, check out my video for Auto1111 :)
Thank you very much for the tutorial. I tried this with my laptop . It's working perfectly. CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 4800HS , GPU : NVIDIA GTX 1660 Ti GDDR6 6GB
Interesting. I don't need it but I might give it a go if it can use custom models. FYI, it doesn't reduce the prompt as such, you're still prompting the same, it simply does it in the background after you pick the style and so on.
@@albertbozesan True, I guess it depends how you look at it. I was looking at it as the prompt is still there, so that isn't reduced. Yet it does reduce the amount of prompt you type in, so there's that point of view. 🙂
I'm mostly just glad that I can get people into SD now without teaching them Auto1111. They don't need to know what exactly is happening behind the scenes until they're comfortable, IMO :D
@@albertbozesan Yes I agree. I'm not a YT'er and I still get a lot of questions about, so I can imagine how many you get. I usually point them to one of the websites but it's great to have something for those with the hardware but who don't want the install hassles that come with it.
Thanks for the video, very interesting. I don 't understand image generation and writing scripts at all . But somewhere I looked that you can take a picture insert and render pictures on this topic and already choose from them what you need. Please tell me in the Focus program is it possible to do this ?
The law is still catching up on all this AI stuff, but it does appear in most countries that if you just prompt text and do nothing else, the result is in the public domain.
Stable Diffusion is fully open source. Unfortunately the copyright laws are far behind AI art these days - you may risk the images you create here being public domain. But many people use SD commercially!
Hey, thanks for the video. I downloaded and installed focus. However, when it is opened on my chrome browser, it says "your connection to this site is not secure". Still I prompt and press the generate button but it shows "initializing" and nothing comes for ages. I have 16 gb ram and 7th gen cpu . can you help?
Hey Albert - Loved the video, i've been using focus and wanted to know if there was a way to use other models like the posing ones or Img2img on FOOOCUS. Would be really helpful if you could show us how
I don’t think many more features will arrive in Fooocus, at the risk of it just turning into Auto1111. And for that just watch my recent video on installing and using SD :)
@@albertbozesan thank you so much fore replying. I did do that and I think the local URl is the same, because after getting Auto1111 I I wasn't getting the link on which it was being hosted :( Do I need to uninstall Fooocus to use auto1111
@@SuperFireburger no, that shouldn’t be a problem if only one of them is open. If you want both open at the same time for some reason, you can change which port auto opens up in. Open webui-user.bat in Notepad, and after COMMANDLINE_ARGS= add “--port 1234” with whatever number you want. Then it won’t try to share the same url.
I won’t claim it’s super easy. First of all, Fooocus is not the right UI for it. It’s too simple. I recommend checking out Kohya for LORA training, and be prepared to spend a lot of time with trial and error. You’ll need a good amount of VRAM in your GPU, too.
It runs locally on your computer, so it’s all private anyways. I’m not a lawyer, but barring the current copyright discussions around AI art, the results can be used how you like.
@@coldgin2023 well, I see it as a big advantage to use open source software on my own hardware for free. You can always run this in a Google Colab or use one of the many paid online services for SD. That’s not what Fooocus is for.
@@albertbozesan to have a program use up resources when you may need them for other things is a disadvantage to a lot of people. That's why an online presence is very important as it frees up your computer and opens up the generator to a lot more people.
@@coldgin2023 coding a UI and providing an online product are two very different things. Like I said, there are several ways to use SD online :) I won't name any for-profit products, but google Stable Diffusion Colab and you'll find an option to run it yourself online.
I’d generate it full size with a pixel art style/prompt, then resize it down in a photo editing program with some other tricks. Trying to generate natively at low res won’t work.
At first everything is fine but when I hit generate it takes forever to create an image, the blue bar almost does not advance, I have a ryzen and a 6gb nvidia gtx 1060 video card 😭
@@albertbozesan finally I tried other preset and it worked much better, around 1 minute or less, the only bad thing is that while im doing the process I cant use the computer for other things due to the memory consumption. But its worth it since it take very good images
Sounds like something is off, my 3070 Ti pulls about 40-45 secs for one with 2 loRA's added. Does it show your loading xformers ok? - Hovers about 2 IT's@@SergheiStarus
I don’t think that will ever be a feature of Fooocus. It’s meant to be the simplest possible UI - they’re only working on features that Midjourney also has.
An easy seed/info ref on generated images would be nice, yet the seed should be in the image metadata so look there. I use A1111 and ComfyUI, A1111 has a nice extension for easily seeing the generation info.
Whatever works best for you. ComfyUI needs some quality of life updates before I jump to it but it definitely wins in terms of speed and resource usage. Until then I'm sticking with A1111, even for SDXL.
It really shouldn’t be - it takes up to a minute on my RTX 2070s. Do you have any other GPU intensive software open at the same time? Have you checked the issues on the GitHub page if someone else is experiencing it?
Hey, I installed the software and opened the window in my browser, but I get the following error when I try to create an image: safetensors_rust.SafetensorError: Error while deserializing header: MetadataIncompleteBuffer I would love it if someone could help me.
There is a flag you can set in the config that lets you open it to your local network. Check out the Fooocus GitHub for more on that. You can then open a port to outsiders, but that’s classic networking and beyond my core expertise 😅
I Have Rtx3050, 4Gb of vRam. This method is processing the prompt very slowly... I am using SDXL in confyui with no Refiner! It takes about 45 seconds to generate an image! Also SDXL is better for arts only! But for photos, human generation SD is much better and faster!
45 seconds is okay for SDXL on a card like that. I don’t agree that SD 1.5 is always better for photos - depends on what model you’re using, I suppose.
@@albertbozesan Of course, it depends on the model, and it takes only 5-7 seconds for a generation. I am using "DreamShaper" model and after transforming the same photo in img2img via "Realistic Vision", the result is fantastic!
Be warned this takes absolute ages to unzip im only on 30% unzipped and its been 40 minutes, rushes to 29% then its slow going from there... will update when it's done, or if i just quit (if it goes on too long)
The problem is not with my PC! The problem is that Fooocus consumes 16g of RAM without doing anything, just opening the page. I've been using SD XL and automatic 1111 for a long time without any problems. RTX 3050 8gb - 16gb ram
@@albertbozesan Yes! I saw someone with the same problem and there was no response! I created a discussion there and so far nothing! It's all very strange because they told me that it would be lighter than the SDXL on another platform and the Automatic 1111, both of which I already use without these problems. My video card remains unused, when in fact it should pull the program from it. Thank you in any way for responding!
Easy use is definitely NOT what i'm waiting for or is anywhere in the feature list. I think the usage is way to easy already. I need much more options in a more reasonable way to specify then Midjourney and the Discord interface.
