Hi there Payton, I've been following your content for a while now, I appreciate your content and I absolutely love the priceless value you put out there. However I wanted ask a few questions, apart from design and development what are the other services that go into ensuring the success of a website, especially in the marketing space. I'm aware of SEO and email marketing but what are other services that clients are usually I need of in the marketing space. Finally, is automation a viable service to offer right now.

Most senior ui/ux or product design jobs are around 100k/year, and that is purely design work. No learning about or trying to sell SEO

Hello Payton, with regard to retainers, I wonder whether ongoing work for existing customers should only be offered as retainer packages. Some customers only need maintenance work from time to time. Do you then refuse this and only sell retainer packages?

SEO results are only visible after 5,6 months, then how to convince clients of 12-month SEO package?

That’s exactly why you need to sign them to a 12 month contract. If you only do month to month, they will cancel after three months. If you can get them to commit to 12 months, they will be thrilled at the results by the end of that contract.
