I can't understate how lucky the rs3 community is to have a creator like you! Love the streams and the guides, fantastic vibes and always a joy to see both types of content. Looking forward to trying to push enrage myself in the future, keep it up!
This is cool and all, but why learn when I can plead ignorance and still say I need to do 25 ed4 runs and that making money is for losers while I go lose money on overloads getting titles at easy bosses.
Your animations and attention to detail describing the inventory are top tier! I'm only part of the way through the video and I already wish I could like and subscribe a dozen more times ❤
@@TheRSGuyHey Ryan, im an ironman with no active clans and dont have your skills to solo bm... Think P7 is still doable without stormshard stacks? Thanks :)
A couple of notes: It may feel like you are taking excessive damage in phases 1-6, especially 5 and 6 with the current perk setup. It may be an idea to bring impatient 4 devoted 4 and enhanced devoted 4 (in place of invigorating), as that will significantly reduce the damage taken Ring of death for ring slot is absolutely huge. In p7 it allows you to make more mistakes and still get the kill, as that effectively gives you almost 11k extra hp to work with and still finish the kill When phasing pads, it is possible to use three fingers of death on every pad: rather than doing volley first, you can do fingers of death, same timing as using volley in the video. As you cast your third finger, the charged pad will refill your adrenaline, effectively making that third finger free, then follow up with volley and death guard special When learning it is nice to have panic heals, so an alternative inventory for food could be 3x brew and rest filled with sailfish. Necromancy is a lot more lenient on adrenaline, so 10% adren penalty is not that big, and it may be favourable to have those chonky heals, especially when one of the pads reduces the amount of hp you heal I found myself taking a tad too much damage for phases 5 and 6 (cursed be twin shot!), so it may be an idea to use reflect rather liberally to reduce the incoming damage In p7: stacking reflect with powerburst of vitality and disruption shield is helpful to survive bombs above 12k, since the smaller bombs also hurt a lot if the big one is bigger New thing I learned: Death guard special in p7 - I'm looking forward to trying that out
~RSN Duzix here, I's argue two things: 1. I recommend that while learning Zammy, you skip some, if not all of the T95 First necromancer gear and use T90 Tank armor because when learning 500% having 14k health, (boosted to 28k with powerburst of vitality) is more important because: - you will tank 5k-12k hits - you may not have disruption shield yet 2. When you are first learning, doing critical hits with a 250m grimoire is not priority, surviving is, so if you don't have that item, don't let that prevent you from trying Zammy Everything else I agree with! Some helpful tips: - Disruption shield: start buying Livid Plants for Livid Farm Points to fast track unlocking this magic spell. -Livid plants are RARE and can be bought this June 27th and August 3rd 2024. -Livid plants are sold through the traveling merchant with a reoccurring sales schedule, and the cycle is predicted/recorded on the RS3 wiki
Agreed on the tank armor advice! It's how I got comfy and really helped to solidify foundations and building familiarity with the fight E: I will say tho, with tank armor, split soul is almost mandatory in p7 unlike in the video unless you have t95 weapons, and even then..
Fair points! Definitely don't need TFN gear for lower enrages, but in testing I found it made getting a 1-cycle a lot less consistent, which is why it's a req for this guide!
Hey Ryan! Excuse me, Mod RS Guy! First just wanna say I'm so hyped for your future as a jmod. Can't wait to see what you do for the streamer community. OSRS is doing great and I really wanna see RS3 move the same direction. I've seen an ability tracker you have in a few videos. I'm afraid of just googling stuff and downloading, so would you be able to share the one you use or how to set it up? Anything helps my man. Best of luck in the next phase for you!
I keep taking so much damage, I am running with T80 tank but have all the other stuff specified. realistically how long should it take to learn? I need this to complete Aftermath Quest.
Amazing video as always! Feels like I can use this to make a better habit of running Zammy. I got my first few kills from your video released a few months ago using the 241356 pad order. Was this pad order found to be better over time? Thanks again!
Bone shield is incredibly good in general but especially in p7 in case you don't kill it quick enough. There is also an additional cheat code to always survive the 2nd big bomb but it requires you to have divert; simply divert the melee attack with your spectral spirit shield equipped, then use immortality, and you'll never die.
Divert immort is my fav strategy for 2nd bomb, but I've found divert won't get you to 100% adren because you're sitting on 20%~ at the end of the rot Reso shield works just as well, but without adren reqs
Can anyone explain how to properly deal with the Flames of Zamorak mechanic? So whenever I try to block the damage (by using resonance or disrupt shield) done by the bomb once the bar above my head runs out, the block always procs on the auto attack and I will get hit by the bomb
Is it possible to do this with Melee? I haven't levelled Necro fully and don't enjoy the playstyle, but have about 1-2b of Melee gear. I know Necro is just the best, but I really want to do my best to get Melee to work where I can.
You can do it with melee! Budget setup is scourge + offhand t88 leng, no EoF Pad rot: pre berserk + divert Barge Assault Overpower Destroy Phase 7: Berserk Basics on runes After last rune, devotion and reflect Barge zammy Assault Overpower Shatter Destroy And that will clear it! Gl gamer, I love melee Zamorak
Honestly, with the last video stuck in mind , i was focusing so much on the editing and the production of the video. This guy does deserve way more than 66k on youtube, if he was on another game even osr he would have at least 500k subs This guy really likes runescape 3
For P7 that's probably a combination of not killing the runes quickly, going in with low health, and not doing enough defensives. Devotion with pray melee, then either vit pot or disruption shield is usually enough to survive the big hit. Or at 100% it's entirely possible to do the damage quickly enough that the big bomb doesn't even hit you. Pre-deathmark + shatter + volley + 1 finger is usually enough.
The timing doesn't change at all from the rotation in the video, so yes, it works on all rune configurations. Might take some time to get the hang of the timing for mobility abilities, but it works out the same
I've been waiting for this and I've been trying to push, but dying in P7 had me pretty hard stuck. It's REALLY nice to see where I'm going wrong. I kept panicking P7 because all I knew was that the bomb was going to do damage, usually a lot. Your explanation of how the bomb works plus the small tips like rooting the demon P7 with the t90 spec (why didn't I think of that???) will be instrumental in making me stop panicking. You even address mistakes and how to deal with those! I'm hoping for my 500% solo soon. THANK YOU!
Is it possible this is a case where conjure army should be after touch and sap on revo? It seems to me that conjure up time for this is less important than stack accumulation. Feels like perhaps a minor, but possibly impacful oversight regarding p7? You say to use basics to gather stacks while killing runes, but it's maybe possible to miss a few before going to zammy? This could break the 1 cycle for someone using revo for basics. They may need to use a basic or 2 to get the adren for shatter if the 2nd finger is used with less than 6 stacks. Might even result in thrm using shatter after zammy goes invuln which would be extra frustrating. Since youre in LD its possible theres no way to be short, and the runes arent damaged by those immediately so you still need to hit them, but this could also increase bomb power. Top notch guide on litterally everything else. I just feel like perhaps you used manual for these and the consistency on p7 is due to this and its possible the revo bar shown was less considerate of this. And i want to reiterate, one of the best guides ive seen for a boss ever. It sounds like im being critical, but its thr only thing and its possible its not even an issue. Thanks for the guide, the work you do for the game and community, and congrats on the new position. Cant wsit to see what fuit that bears.
Conjure undead army is best first, and will not impact p7, because it will only be used once. As for the phase 7, it is possible that you may need to manually use soul sap once or twice on runes, but unlikely.
could you not do pad 5 last so you don't have to step on any trapped pads after that, to make things simpler? i was doing this same pad order but with pad 5 last and wasn't noticing any issues. although i'm only at 250% enrage so far, i guess at 500% maybe that matters? Edit, i see now, it's to avoid the witch spawning and having to deal with that.
The benefit of pad 3 last is not having to kill the witch You are more than welcome to end with 3-5 instead of 5-3 but most people find the witch more annoying than 2 chaos traps
@@TheRSGuy yeah I will try that thankyou for explaining! I didn't even know what the witch did ngl haha just killed it anyway because it seemed to work out. Fantastic video as usual dude 10/10 and you're carrying Runescape 3 so hard, your neck and shoulders must be killing you
Given that eq is competitive with mahj for necro and works well with ful, how would eq ful compare to mahj grim? It would greatly reduce upkeep in gp but more importantly in marks of war.
@@TheRSGuy You don't need to remove biting from gear, just run eq and biting does nothing. Most won't bother replacing biting as there are no dps perks to replace it.
If you use the revo bar provided at the beginning, the leftover abilities needed would fit within the bar slots on screen. Or if not, then some of the fluff like the demonslayer ability can be trimmed until it does. Also it may be worth putting conjure army behind touch of death and soul sap on revo only because you get ample time to reconjure and stacks are important so conjure up time isn't as vital as stack accumulation. From there, it's just doing what the guide says. It'll likely be harder, but its definitely able to be done. It's all in what you're used to.
Nope! If you want to living death on pads 2 and 4, you can and it will save you 30-45 seconds per kill, but I prefer the method where it's the same rot on every pad. Living death on those pads allows you to skip without split soul
I play on mobile and I tried with the bis in necro and Im still not able to kill him in 100% I suck or is it to hard on mobile? Or someone can give me any tips? 🥹😭
Mobile-only player here. Yeah, it's hard, but doable. I'm at 400 enrage atm. There are 2 key things I do differently. First, I use the hellhound. Second, I don't flick at all. I'm always praying magic/range, and will only use soulsplit after a pad is charged, so that I get a free heal. If you do this, your life points will never deplete and you don't have to eat.
Thank you for both answers i’ll try with those tips, and it’s reassuring to know that mobile is way harder and that that’s why I’m still not able to finish wave7 and not because I suck at the game 🙂↕️🙂↕️
@@JoFo-cl6roI would like to know what manual action bar you use to the left and to the right, maybe you use something more efficient that i haven’t try yet, if you can help me with that please. The day I’m finally able to beat wave 7 will be a great day 🥹
@@chukss_ I have offensives on the left, defensives on the right. Left side has skulls, eof, omni spec, finger, bloat, volley, and surge. Right has soul split, pray range, pray magic, eat first food (I use sharks for 200 or less enrage, rocktails for more. I found that the higher healing amounts is worth the adren trade-off since you can't really combo eat on mobile), anticipate, freedom, and storm shards. During P7, I switch to a different bar. Left one has shatter, volley, finger, eof, omni, death mark, and surge. Right has eat food, soul split, pray magic, pray melee, devotion, reflect, and debilitate.
Amazing guide. All the little edits.. had me feeling like i was in a final fantasy interface. Very detailed..understood what was being talked about while it was being highlighted.❤
So I disagree with a lot of this. There is helpful information. Why start with omni guard spec? Why bring kalgerion demon instead of hellhound. You can literally stack damage reduction buffs along with hellhound and not panic eat. I'm aware it can die. Why not recommend to use devotion constantly throughout the fight except last 2 pads. Why not utilize omni guard spec after phasing for increased basic attack output. If you do split soul/Death skulls/finger/finger/volley/death guard and finally omni guard spec you're not sitting there waiting for omni. Also why not bloat after you phase.
People need to stop complaing about bosses being to easy. Like this is overwhelming, unnecessarily, difficult and extremely unforgiving if you slip. There’s no reason and it’s not enjoyable at all
the only one complaining here is you, about a boss that's intended to be hard. if it doesn't suit you, go afk vindicta or any other of the dozen or more trash bosses with no mechanics
This is not a criticism of your guide but is this fun? Doing the same rotation 6 times while skipping every single mechanic, and then pressing the same 10 or so buttons to deal with P7? Nothing I like about pvm is there, no pushing anything, no having to think on the fly, just copy paste. Zamorak just letting you skip everything before P7 makes for a terrible experience imo
A guide is there to help people do something. You don't have to follow the guide, or you can push further and above 900% it'll be hard to burst through.
@@Tinky1rs sure, but the fact that you can skip every mechanic and 1-cycle p7 up to 500%, a higher % than most players ever reach in the first place, seems to me like a problem with the boss design
Your final rotation is conditional on having full 12 necrosis stacks everytime and not running out of adren when you cast the 2nd finger. Falling below 50% adren at that point basically means the player cant use shatter or any other thresholds, and its a very real possibility since you decided to begin the final kill with devotion + weapon spec Moreover youre also missing reflect for the bomb and subsequent autos which does a huge amount of dmg while also reducing the dmg you take. Lastly, you dont use split soul at any point in p7, which is sometimes the difference maker between getting the kill and not getting it. Lots of areas to improve on in this video
Disagree with you personally - the rot is conditional on having Max stacks, and in 800 kills using this method, not once did I not have max stacks - no split soul on p7 was intentional, as it gives more damage (that is not needed) at the cost of either more apm (flicking the melee hit) or less healing (no SS heals) - reflect for the bomb omitted because it isn't needed. If you reflect, your adrenaline is below 50% and you need limitless, which is an additional req. A lot of this stuff is personal preference, but the choices made on the p7 were very intentional.
@@TheRSGuy You can't guarantee 12 stacks always using the first bar you showed, and that's my point. But you can with your own bar that you showed later, hence why _you_ always have 12 stacks in p7 when you're hitting zammy. This is a big issue because I myself use the first bar by default and there's been plenty of times I'm starting the kill at 8 necrosis stacks. It's not guaranteed Also, more dmg at the cost of a little more finesse is always better - it gives you more leeway in case something happens. Say, your last rune is the furthest one and you mess up your surge. Thats 1 or 2 less abilities you can now cast. Split souling just as you're killing the 2nd rune and toggling to ss after the melee hit gives you like 20k dmg. Reflect does similar amounts, if not more. Thats literally the 2 abilities you "lost", yet it lets you make up E: looking again, I use a similar but not quite the first bar. Still, something to consider
@@adamm1117so to negate that use the S key on your keyboard for basic attack and get 12 stacks? When you are in LD you get 2 stacks per auto so that would fix that up in a jiffy. No BM intended but as an adult you should be able to use at least 5 keys in an online video game especially if you are at 500% Zammy which is end game content.
@@DirtyFrank-h8p If you're putting up a RU-vid guide, you need to at least know and cater to your audience. 500 zammy != 2000 zammy. If you're putting out a guide for 500 zammy you need to account for general player skill on top of replicability on the player end. You can't be expecting things to be this fine tuned when catering to this section of the playerbase at 500% This is the biggest issue with a big chunk of Rsguy's guides - they're just not repeatable by a large chunk of his audience, because he does things in certain ways that go unexplained or because of stuff he overlooks. Video after video from this dude, sort by recent comments and it's people complaining, "I'm doing the _exact_ same thing you're doing and in the exact same gear, but I'm taking too much dmg." Or "I'm not dealing enough dmg" etc. And I totally believe them. I tried following his vorkath guide and it was a mess. You know who this is never an issue for? Raph the genius RU-vidr. I don't know what it is about that dude but he's an absolute champ and his guides will never fail a determined player, they're just foolproof.
