No squinting, no gross out spitting on the thread, no hairspray to stiffen the thread. No more nonsense just a magical way to thread your needles. No extra kit needed either 😉
Wow, I have some stupidly skinny needles that I never use because I can't thread them, today I needed a super -fine needle and your video got it threaded! Thanks! 🤩
Omg, I haven't sewed in years, & my eyesight is far from what it used to be & I have something to definitely repair. I thought I would probably have to buy some little device to help me get the needle threaded, but you saved me from having to purchase something extra so THANK YOU!
Not for a second did I think this would work with the tiny eye my needle has. First two attempts failed but my third was successful!! I cannot believe this works. Thank you. 👍
I tried this over and over. Can’t get it to work. Btw I’m 42 year old man that doesn’t know the first thing about sewing. Just felt the need to try it out.
Does this only work for a certain type of thread, or a certain type of needle? Does the eye of the needle need to face my palm and the thread, or me? I've tried for over five minutes and all I've accomplished is to exfoliate my palm!
Same here! She's using a yarn type thread. Maybe that's what the problem is. I have a thread that I'm about to sew a mask with. I think it's polyester thread. It doednt look like her thread though. She fails to mention what type thread this works on. And also it looks like a tapestry needle she's using. But, I fell for it and now all I have is a sore hand. HA!
Wowwwww! It took me about two minutes to thread the needle using your technique. Having slight tension as you noted made it easier for the thread to enter the eye.
This didn't work for me. I think some more demonstration about how to maintain tension and whether you hold the end of the thread with your finger/thumb would help... I was using a very small needle hole and fine thread tho!
Thank you!!! The others that do this go toooo fast and no way could I ever thread a needle that way! But your way was awesome nice and slow always wins the race! Hehe
Great video I am definately going to see if this works, Now did anyone else get distracted at the 2 minute mark by the bug crawling around or was it just me LOL
@@rajendranss3680 I have a pouch of needle and thread. I had that thing for YEARS and never touched it. I always thought it was decoration or something. (never noticed the thin diamond wire)
Omg this is fantastic...I struggle so much trying to thread needles...generous...how on earth did you fathom this out????...and I’m so glad you did...thanks so much 😊👍
After rubbing the needle on my hand to the point of bleeding, I realize she is using a massive needle with a huge eye. Doesn't work with regular sized needless
Been polishing the top of my needle for 20 minutes with a dang piece of thread. Got a hand cramp and a few nearly raw places on my hand. I am determined though.. try again later.
IT did not work for me. My eyes are not very good and I still can't get it. I've tried and tried and can not get it to work. Very small needle and light thread.
The size of that eye looks like a darning needle; my needles all have tiny eyes, they don't want to seem to know. Of course I'm probably doing it incorrectly - maybe I should start with a darning needle and work down ...
You are right! this technic just works for big eye needles only! .... most needles for silk, cotton and thin materials are very tiny small eyes, some time even threader can't not get through. I use wax to make the tip of the thread a little stiff and it gets through easier !
If you, like me, used a needle with a small eye, and can't get get this to work, my recommendation is to beg, borrow, buy, or steal (forget the last one, I would never recommend that you steal) a needle threader. And do it like this: www.thesprucecrafts.com/how-to-use-a-needle-threader-2978092
Nope didn’t work. Had a heck of a time just trying to wrap the thread around my hand then proceeded to scratch my hand up with the needle. Maybe I’ll keep trying??
Love how the video skips where its supposed to work. Like she couldnt even get it done in one take ... just buy a needle threader like a normal human being !
I wouldn’t do this it looks dangerous for the skiing on your finger to get attached to the needle.. the safer way is to get the cotton make a little loop before starting and thread the needle into the loop. You’ve threaded the needle like magic. It’s quick and much more easy to do🙂. Have a try.
I have just found awesome product, needle threader help my grandma a lot with her poor eyesight highly recommend. I bought it from here www.bestiegoods.com/
