Not West Africa the behaviour of the Ghanaian president has been noted on at least two separate occasions Ghana is going to slip down. The pan Africanist league that will stay with Ethiopia and many Western countries will make Ghana a very interesting country in a bad way.
Yes African United, we need a Pan African curriculum to elevate the consciousness of United States of Africa in Africa,America and in the diaspora. Doing that l am finding challenges, risks, benefits all 54 African leaders will ensure that young African leaders new generation of Africa, Africa America leaders don't loose focus and the concept of pan Africanism. @knobjockey76 We have problems no doubt, but we are going to see the benefits of uniting and you will suffer. A big drop in the standard of living when more countries refuse to use your dollar. Fix your homeless and sort your coming race war then come talk to Africa
That sounds good. This is not just about Africa struggles to gain stability this is a Worldly attempt for globalization for everyone. The perspective I see if you get one continent to work on an agreement then another continent is sanctioned to hurt other countries just to show disagreement . Then I look at the European politicians ,I saw China politicians group of 600 man team then United States . Everywhere any continent or country. What we see majority all males. A football team. Sometimes truth has to be heard . Which is it “Males calling for a war or war calling for war , to often this is the only results we have seen with peaceful collaboration. Even Russia beg for resolution but was denied. Now France protesters wants the war it to end. Who, somebody wants sell more guns. Often only to get trinkets for a women somewhere and so nothing has changed. That’s our history males just keep unbalance some just don’t want a collective collaboration to create unification. I watched this video for 6 hours . Couldn’t believe I just realized I only saw one women, a snapshot of a beautiful women for someone, and she didn’t have a fancy titled but just doing nothing but probably being the reason of the chaos. Then I thought about real females that work like the lioness that hunt in a pack sometimes after the male has killed her babies to only procreate his own team. The lion in the jungle don’t work in a collective nor collaborate he just wants to be eating . The lion is not very concern with doing the hunting nor do he like sharing, their is no compassion or morality in his dinner time just eating. He just even more rowdy mating to create him a team to hunt for him. This is my hope no war on innocent people over a women or trinkets. All these men working for 400 years and we still believing they are going to give up power in this world. Only a few ever have ever completed a task for humanity , what happens their gone. This ideology that only males should be the only ones with a pen sitting at a desk reading to put justice in politics or only males should be in power or only males know everything about creating peace. I hope for the best. We need more women in politics. The lies I tell myself. We need more woman to stop being hostess at the door, to step up for women if your into politics. Mother Earth may stop being the hostess less she come and make peace. I truly see too much testosterone busting out of their suit jackets just squirming, stirring to roam and pacing themselves to read , listen . It takes more than patience to sit , resolve differences, or conform a path to peace than testosterone can deliver. I have never seen so many males doing paper work . This nobody wants to face ,it is the elephant in the room for centuries . Too many males sleeping on the job. A bunch of male politicians sounds looks like a fictitious front and everyone of those males know they do very little to resolve conflict in a chair with a pen. We women do two jobs every day, some do three. Observe this party until the bombs drop. Yet we sit here been waiting for centuries for males to complete the job so we can feed our babies for peace for our children. When it comes to reality of unification how with so many so afraid of not being the president. If males are so good at being in a collective doing the collaboration why does it take years decades, centuries to get an agreement on paper. We know the truth it is difficult for a group of males do do anything except eat, sleep. We need more women to balance the agenda. This video has me observing what women are thinking. Compassion apologies for my rant.
Begin only with Tanzania, Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda and Burundi and see how it goes from there... Then after a decade or so invite others if they meet your standards This idea definitely has some Huge potential. This should have been done already a long time ago, but it's definitely not too late. Only one question remains; What would be the capital city of EAF Lots of Love from Canada ❤️❤️❤️
No all the 7 member states plus Ethiopia, Somalia, Malawi, and Angola... we are one we can start with even 12 - Afrika will unite back... this tribes of Europe came here to draw a boundary that divides one tribe on an Afrikan soil, colonialism did harm to us, we're getting our selves back together, we will be back.
@@mariadigne5346 conialism dint harm africa ur forgetting that India too got colonised and its economy is growing fast and will be the 3rd largest economy by 2050 let's look at Ethiopia,Ethiopia was not colonised and still is poor,we can't keep blaming the Europeans, the European maybe a little bit the reason to why african is poor but the main reason is african leaders
@@blessbless2075 colonialism TRASHED India. Britain stripped an estimated $300 trillion from India and took a country more progressed than they were and left it mainly in poverty. Colonialism fucked over every land it touched.
South Africa basically is already a union between Transvaal, Free State, Natal and the Cape. At the moment splitting into separate countries looks more likely than uniting with neighbours.
WOW.... THIS IS NEWS FOR THE WORLD! POLITICAL CREATIVITY! MAY GODLY WISDOM LIGHT & GUIDE, MAY LEADERSHIP SEEK TO SERVE THE WELL BEING &:WELFARE OF THE CITIZENS, FROM BOTTOM UP! GLORY TO GOD!
If this was ever to come to pass , East Africa, not North Africa, not West Africa, not Southern Africa would have economy of size , competitive advantage and their own mother tongue. Because of this my friend we will see a new mindset of the Africans of tomorrow -- this would be the greatest thing , greater than the abolishment of the transatlantic slave trade , greater than Barac Obama being the President of the United States of America, greater than the moon landing. So let's keep our fingers crossed ; not count our chickens before they hatch and let's pray for those East African leaders who are about to bring a new dawn to mankind.
Common currency would be great, but security would need an improvement for Unification. Getting some sort of permaculture going in more impoverished areas and clean water/sanitation would allow for some of the peace needed to keep the economies stable while they build.
That's the trend that seems to be working . Federations , republics , unions of like minded people sharing values and leveraging there inputs and outputs to maximal effect. It makes those on the periphery compete or join in the effort to maintain a equilibrium that is favorable to there populations. I believe that in the fullness of time an equilibrium will be arrived at perhaps even one unified African continent. ( with a robot workforce :)
In my opinion, The EAC as an organization can surely continue to grow and include more members with low risks. But for building a Federation, a much more cautious approach has to be taken, in which the 4 most willing nations (🇹🇿, 🇺🇬, 🇷🇼, 🇰🇪) forms the federation first and then, VERY SLOWLY expands, to include other members of the EAC, should they be up to the standards. Sudan and the Drc can be added later in 10-15 years
The Americans will kill this idea the same way they killed the Gaddafi's idea of United Africa with a common currency.. if we could have a president like Uhuru Kenyatta steering this wheel for another 2years then the hopes for a stronger EAC could have been realised
Omera wasonga, omg. You are in essence saying you don't want to till and plant in your garden because you fear that Washington will come and destroy your harvest. por qui? . Sounds to me like you just don't want to improve yourself and you are looking for a scapegoat to cover up your intentions. Why not lead by example? Take the baby steps and see what happens. Last time I checked, you can not make a nuclear warhead out of maize, or beans, or cassava for that matter! Let's keep it straight, baby steps towards self sufficiency. Erokamano. my 2 cents!
The EAF is a great idea but the inclusion of South Sudan and the DRC makes me nervous. They're much more unstable and wartorn and if part of the same country as the others could bring the whole thing down. I think starting off without them and letting them join once they've stabilized would be a better idea.
Yes 👍 I support 💪 the idea ❤ go ahead and unit yourself over there West Africa are not organizing themselves they too believe in USA and UK. Just forget about us go ahead over there God blessed Easth Africa

This community will draw allot of talent from West Africa who may have ended up in Europe, but Europe isn't going to count even though. Europe is aging fast in that future no European country will be in the top five countries.
I hate to be pessimistic, but given how fractious the politics is in each of these countries, it is highly unlikely it'll become a single nation. But perhaps an economic zone with an aligned foreign policy would make for a viable option in the short term
Adding DRC and South Sudan is a mistake... they are too big and too unstable to incorporate in the union... DRC also has problems with Rwanda and Uganda with the M23 rebels... East African Union should become a stable country first before adding in more countries, important thing is to take it slow...
not just a superpower in Africa but globally. Western Europe can simply fit in DRC alone and still we will have a bigger population, bigger youthful population and more natural resources than Western Europe for example, including minerals, climate, arable land, fresh water e.t.c . Of course leadership is an issue but if its easy then its not worth it. Add Ethiopia we have two of the things that creates geo-political powers namely language (Swahili) and a writing system (Amhara). Give it 20 years, no give it fifty years if you like. Its just one generation and in the grand scheme of things it's nothing. We just got independence some 60 years ago why cling on to something we didn't create in the first place. Urumwe na wendani.
As a non African and an American so take my opinion with a grain of salt but this would be a step in the right direction for Africa and maybe they could join the world stage and reap all the benefits that it provides and maybe some of the other country’s could invest in this country and also this could be the most stable African country that Africa had in their history I’m hopping it won’t ends up as a terrible failure and hopping for the best of this possible new government taking hold
If the politics will be aligned and adapt the kenyan justice system across the federation then it will hold. Mostly because most countries joining have the military that can stop all hostilities in east congo and south sudan. The governments have the monopoly of instruments of Violence so it will succeed.
All small countries around the world know that bigger is better, and that the success of the EU since its founding in the 1950s with the original 6 has shaped how small countries elsewhere view integration. In this case, from the trio of Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda in the original EAC 1967-1977 and its rebirth in 1999 and subsequent 4 new members (of which 3 are from the former Belgian Congo) has shown it to be a desirable and sustainable project. The G7 became its current form in 1976 with the addition of 7th member Canada. In 1977, the EU became a member but isn't counted as a country and attends all G7 meetings since joining. The EU in 1977 wasn't even as important as it is today as the European Parliament wasn't elective yet until 1979 and the euro and the ECB didn't come into existence until 1998-1999. Even if this eventual federation doesn't participate in the G7 like the EU, it probably would be part of the G20 like South Africa. And maybe even the BRICS. This is the instrument by which sub-Saharan Africa joins the global stage.
Domination of the Indian Ocean as a Région & Belt & Road Chinese infrastructure investment might pull the landlocked states into better ways of improving trade & civil society with Swahili as a common language better links to Arabia & stronger ties to India will also require rail &road from ports to inland economies- let India & China & BRICS compete for best practices vs USA & EU
How will they agree on one president of the FEDERATION?and have they put up measures that will see Member States conjoined into one great COUNTRY?I hope its not a great joke on paper?
Can I ask a question and I haven't seen any similar ones to this. Why are the Horner African countries within East Africa not part of the EAF plans?? It doesn't really make much sense to me.
Some horn of Africa countries are busy fighting religious wars, mostly for control of resources for their religion to become useful participants in this. Somalia (al shabab) is a good example.
@@kb_rtd1430 Only country fighting a religous war is Somalia. Djibouti isn't doing anything, Eritrea is more repressing its own citizens than fighting anyone now (after the Tigray genocide...) and Ethiopia I say is busy fighting itself since its effectively balkanizing. If Eritreas leader leaves. Eritrea and Djibouti should at least be able to join. Ethiopia is like a timebomb and Somalia seems to be a constant battlefield.
the East African Federation - 🇧🇮 Burundi, 🇨🇩 Democratic Republic of the Congo, 🇰🇪Kenya, 🇷🇼 Rwanda, 🇸🇸 South Sudan, 🇹🇿 Tanzania and 🇺🇬Uganda - - as a single federated sovereign state.
And "on paper" will the EAF likely to remain for a number of years, if not a generation. You only have to look at the EAC, which was meant to be a common market of the member states but has yet to be fully realised after all these years. Indeed, having a common currency may be one of the steps being implemented by 2023 before the EAF is realised, but it is only one of the easy ones to be accomplished. Of all of them, the EAF being the last one, is the most unlikely, given what we have seen since independence in the governance of the now seven ( 7 ) member states of the EAC. Each one of them may be unwilling to relinquish its sovereignty for the good of all. However, that is not the only issue remaining. Take the issue of language. A quick decision must be made as to what languages will be permitted in the legislative assembly at Arusha, since none of the official languages of the member states are the lingua franca in any of member states. Finally, it remains to be seen whether the EAC let alone the EAF will ever be democratic or not. It will serve us well by avoiding the formation of a bureaucratic institution, with non-elected officials, pandering to other interests, instead of that of the 281 million constituent citizens of the EAC. Therefore, I am pessimistic that the EAF will come about soon because there are too many obstacles none of which will be easily overcome.
Just become one nation. These borders do not make any sense. Choose 4 common business languages. Operate as separate states and have one elected leader who oversees all. United States of Africa. Free movement of people, goods, one passport, one currency and one army. Consolidate debt as a collective.
That's brilliant and only way to stop the colonialist to reap off from Africa. They come with bare hands and go back with full of buckets of our resources. Weldon!!!! This will bring totally financially independence and global respect to Africa .
