@bram471 you can have 2 levers but you’d have to put obsververs at the back of them and then connect them up as if they were buttons. But buttons are definitely easier

This video was very helpful for my tiny brain it was kind of confusing but I built it first try it would help a lot if you made a video where you make it with a button instead of a lever if that is possible

it works but it need small modifications (i build it a little different in bedrock) and the mechanics in bedrock that are used here work in java

This happened to me and I think it happens when you don’t wait for all the repeaters to stop activating after the door opens. So just try waiting a couple seconds after the door opens

I know im late but you have to add a extra sticky piston beneath the 2 at the bottom, this should fix it. Worked for me anyways!

Mine doesnt, must be an error in one of your repeaters or smth.

Check your repeaters to make sure they’re not only on the right ticks but also facing the right way

The piston on the bottom-right side is supposed to be a sticky piston. Not a normal one.

Both the pistons at the very bottom should be regular pistons

@@TomcoTwo there was no mistake. I built this door and the spiral door and both have the same problem. The double piston extender doesn’t work. You will see what everyone in both comment sections is talking about if u try and make them on a survival realm

look up a t flip flop (I think that’s what they’re called) it pretty much makes a button work like a lever

To add more details it is about the bottom right piston holding its block before it pushes it onto the closed door setting. Then once the door goes back to open it’ll push that block over to the left and break the two setting Redstone repeater.

it shoudn't be unreliable, if you have discord or twitter im happy to look at the redstone to see whats up

@@TomcoTwoI placed the Redstone torch on one piston and it got activated then you say put one on the activated piston but the second torch does not turn off

Hey so whenever I use a level as an input it works, but when I changed the input to a torch key (so I could hide it) along with a t flip-flop (to hold it open), double extension doesn’t work. The left piston triggers either early or late, inconsistently, and it makes the door close in an o-shape, not fully sealing. When you try to open it, the left piston on the bottom triggers and breaks a repeater. Any idea how to fix it? To me it seems like Minecraft bedrock redstone being inconsistent , but if there’s a solution that’d be amazing Edit: I realized that I was using a slightly different design, I thought this was the video where I had found it but turns out it was a different one sorry

Is there a way I can split the lever circuit to have 2 seperate activation points? One for outside the gate and one inside

​@durwoodthegiant4421 could do what i did and use a t-flipflop and have 2 seperate input points on the t flipflop

There is a problem, the piston that grabs the middle block of the door tries to grab it too early and it doesn't work. I tried to fix it, but I can't. I don't think it works, but do you know why it's happening?

It does work, as long as it’s built correct. If you have discord or twitter I’m happy to look at the redstone to see if I can see what’s built wrong

tip : if something that has to do with redstone doesnt work but you did it perfectly it is most likely cause you are on the wrong version of minecraft

Replace the block at 4:25 for an observer basically the same way as the one you just placed. Worked for me.

i made a mistake so on the left repeater that goes into the bottom left block there was a block on the left of it i brok it and put redstone and made it a 3 tick and it fixed it

I cant get it to fully retract :/ The second piston is grabbing it but neither the block or the second piston retract fully

@@christiantapia743 Sorry I initially responded but realized I had the wrong tutorial saved, the usual one I use I think is 2x2 flush door by ScottyO, or the door by this creator I think works for his 2x2 one but I kinda just build my own now using a mix of designs.
